Pros
- Very mindful and caring approach
- Personal and answers urgent concerns
Cons
- No online booking platform (aside from email and website enquiry)
- Sometimes delayed response
MiFertility is a great fertility clinic in Perth that we recommend for their personalised treatment plans. They have a good history of working with different cases and we never felt that they slapped just any suggestion for the sake of it.
In our experience, the specialists here will really take your health and history into account. From there, they provide lots of options and are very upfront with any related fees.
The staff is led by Dr Bhanu Deval, who is very understanding, knowledgeable, and caring. We felt very comfortable right away and found his approach very mindful in terms of allowing you to consider your choices.
We appreciate that he gives advice after hours if necessary and will adapt with you, whether it’s short-term or long-term. Sometimes, the responses may be delayed but the answers are always on point.
This clinic has a great reputation in terms of IVF and egg collection, too. With that said, they won’t force any in-depth stuff unless you give the go-ahead.
Parking is across the street by another facility, but it’s not much of a walk. The clinic has other branches with very different operating hours, so you’ll want to make sure you confirm the details for your preferred branch.
A GP referral is needed for Medicare, so make sure you secure that if you want to get the benefits.
If you’re still making up your mind, they host patient information evenings where you can ask any questions for ten minutes. We recommend calling first, though, to make sure you get the most updated schedule.

Pros
- Great at dealing with both male and female fertility issues
- Natural support and naturopathic methods
Cons
- Doesn’t offer treatments like IVF or IUI
- No online booking platform aside from email and website enquiry
Perth Health and Fertility has a heavy focus on naturopathy and natural fertility management. We should note, though, that they still have a general practitioner on call to ensure everything is optimised and no issues are compromised for the sake of naturalness.
We do find that their naturopathic methods are highly recommendable, especially with their success in dealing with PCOS, endometriosis, and poor sperm health.
We found their methods helpful in terms of support for regulating cycles to aid in pregnancy as well as providing aid for those already undergoing IVF treatment. They always have research to back up their suggestions, which put us at ease right away.
Everyone in the staff comes off very warm and committed, and they’ve shown how they truly want to find successful solutions even for chronic issues. The specialists at this facility are very skilled and knowledgeable in their field of expertise.
We recommend filling out their questionnaire online to make things easier. You can simply bring it to them or send it so you have a smoother process when you go for an appointment.
One more thing we do love is how non-judgemental they are. Their natural approach doesn’t come off as overbearing, and instead feels nurturing as they take a look at your hormones and lifestyle to help you find the right fertility plan.

Pros
- Well-versed in complicated issues and surgical concerns
- Welcoming clinic with lots of parking
Cons
- Least number of clinic days
- Less focus on male fertility issues
Dr Atef Saba’s practice is a great choice as it is safe and reliable. The staff here really takes the time to address your concerns and find the right path for your case.
Led by Dr Saba himself, you can really feel the care and attention to detail even upon your first interaction. We must point out his manner, which is very wise and understanding.
We like how attentive he is and willing to accommodate even antsier patients. You can ask all your questions, and he will answer them with grace.
The fact that he took the time to address each concern we brought up is a real plus point.
His keenness for detail can arguably be chalked up to his surgical training, but we do want to highlight his expertise in gynaecological concerns. He is very knowledgeable and even specialises in recurrent miscarriages.
That said, we did notice that the clinic is much more focused on women’s concerns than men’s so we’re not sure you can expect as in-depth of an approach if you are dealing with sperm issues and the like.
We do appreciate that the staff is willing to exhaust options to find out why any treatments may not be going as expected. If you’ve tried without much success in the past, we would say Dr Saba is worth a visit.
The only issue is that he only has two clinic days and has no online booking platform. You can send enquiries via email but it’s best to call if you want an appointment.
There is ample parking space to be found when you visit. The clinic itself is very clean and simple without feeling intimidating, so it’s a good experience all around.

Pros
- IVF specialist that cares for both parent and child
- Upfront with fees and Medicare coverage
Cons
- Genea staff can be very inconsistent in terms of reliability
- Services depend on clinic
Although he primarily operates from Nurture Women’s Health, Dr Teoh will usually treat fertility patients at Hollywood Genea. The former is still the space where he provides pregnancy support, though.
Based on our experience, his NWH facility is much more reliable. So, we recommend reaching out to him to check if he can see you there.
The staff is more consistent and helpful there in general. You should find out which clinic is best for availability, though you may still be directed to Hollywood Genea based on your specific needs.
We recommend, if trying to connect via Genea Hollywood Fertility, to specify that you are seeking Dr Teoh out. There are other specialists there, and we find that their services are more hit-and-miss.
Staff can be inconsistent compared to his NWH clinic, so be sure you get him and the nurses he vouches for. At least, Genea has all the necessary facilities and equipment you need and is very sanitary.
The clinic looks more like an office, but it’s comfortable. The real reason to visit is really because of Dr Teoh.
We really like how calm he is throughout the process. He is detail-oriented and thorough without being overly clinical about things.
He comes off as very dedicated and will take time to make sure you feel like an active participant in your own journey. We found that he gave his knowledge and advice but still left the ball in our court.
Even better, he is very empathetic and mindful when approaching fertility issues. So, you don’t have to worry about feeling shamed or judged by him.
We also find that he gives reliable care to pregnancy and post-partum patients. From start to finish, he has a comprehensive approach that can be comforting for parenting hopefuls.
His space in Genea has a bed for check-ups. Despite the quaint space, it’s well-maintained.
We also felt comfortable because of his assuring manner and the way he prioritises both the mother and the baby in terms of outcomes and preferred interests.
5. Fertility North

Pros
- Very professional, honest, and upfront medical staff
- Openly LGBT-friendly
Cons
- Can be poor with communication
- No bulk billing
What makes Fertility North really recommendable is its space. The clinic is constantly cleaned, feels very elevated, and is the most pleasing aesthetically speaking.
The family-owned clinic is very welcoming, with vibrant staff members that are willing to answer questions across the board. For the most part, they even accept calls on public holidays.
One thing we really appreciate about this clinic is how openly it proclaims itself an LGBT-friendly space.
This allyship can be really helpful for same-sex couples, nonbinary individuals, and other gender-nonconforming people who are in need of a progressive and safe fertility clinic in Perth. From what we’ve seen, they have walked the talk in terms of equal access.
We do wish they had better communication, as they can be slow to respond. There have also been a few complaints about miscommunication, so we recommend double-checking and being very clear whenever you contact their staff.
They can also be pretty inconsistent with certain staples like their donor programme. If you’re going to reach out, we recommend calling as they are not great with email responses.
What makes them a clinic worth visiting, though, is the medical staff that has great, professional, and caring specialists. They are very transparent and upfront with expectations, which we can truly appreciate.
From our interactions, we felt that they aren’t the type to sugarcoat. They will let you know what their outlook is and what the success rate could be.
Their transparency and space are a great combo that we feel mostly redeems some of the less favourable aspects of their communications.
Slow poor communication, inconsistent with some programs such as donor programme, no bulk billing but does provide reasonable rates
Not great with email response at all, recommend calling
Very professional and caring specialists who are very upfront with expectations and what success rate they perceive
Appreciate the transparency and no beating around the bush
