The 5 Best Furniture Stores in Perth

The 5 Best Furniture Stores in Perth

How We Picked the Best Furniture Stores in Perth

Cost

In addition to being affordable, the value of the furniture services must justify the cost. The prices were compared with those at other Perth furniture outlets.

Showroom

We looked at the showrooms and how well they present the products’ availability and condition.

Service

The services were reviewed based on their variety and quality of furniture installations or delivery when available.

Communication

Their staff should be accessible in case of questions or clarifications. They should also be knowledgeable and reliable throughout the service.

Sadler’s Home is one of the best furniture stores in Perth that we can recommend. More than the aesthetics, we think it’s amazing that many items are also functional.

For instance, they have a chair suitable for someone with a bad hip. Or, some of their coffee tables are shaped to have more room for shelves.

We also like that it’s easy for prospects to find their sense of style because they have a vast range of options. This includes dining, home entertainment, furniture, homewares, and more.

The delivery for several clients we spoke to was also a breeze. Some of them got their orders the very next day, which we commend for efficiency.

It’s also valuable for prospects that they have good customer service. They seem capable of answering most enquiries, and nothing was too much trouble.

But though it’s helpful that they accept Visa and Mastercard, there aren’t many other financial options to choose from. It’s best to ensure you have enough financing before purchasing.

If you’d like to explore more of their collection, Sadler’s Home is open daily, but with shortened Sunday hours.

Pros

  • Aesthetic and functional items
  • Vast range of options
  • Offers big discounts
  • Fast delivery service
  • Good customer service

Cons

  • Not a lot of payment options
  • Shortened Sunday hours

Perth Furniture Warehouse is among the most reasonably priced furniture stores in Perth. We believe clients would have significant savings from them.

It’s fantastic that they sell furniture directly from their warehouse. We think they’re unlike others who have to pay expensive showroom rent.

Also, their team buys furniture in bulk and gets cheaper rates from their suppliers. Therefore, it’s more convincing for us that they don’t need to have high markup prices to compensate.

On top of that, we love that they usually hold a clearance sale. If you need to give your living room a makeover, look out for their tables, chairs, and sofas now and then.

We appreciate their friendly staff as well. They’re highly knowledgeable about their stock, so purchases are more hassle-free.

But if you can’t make time to make a physical purchase, they offer delivery services too. Alternatively, you may order and then collect from their warehouse – but note that pick-ups are only within a specific daily schedule.

Also, their company signage may be easy to overlook at first – some trees or bushes cover it from certain angles.

For more information, the best way to reach Perth Furniture Warehouse is through Facebook messenger or email.

Pros

  • Reasonably priced items
  • Regularly holds a clearance sale
  • Offers delivery services
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Cons

  • Pick-ups are only within a specific schedule
  • Their company signage may be easy to overlook

Jardan is an eco-friendly choice among many furniture stores in Perth.

It’s impressive that they care about sustainability. Apart from using mainly local and durable materials, they use solar panels at their manufacturing site to decrease their carbon footprint.

We also appreciate that this store has unique designs for furniture, lighting, homewares, and rugs. The items are personally created and curated by their team.

Moreover, they offer free shipping on homeware orders over $150, applicable to all Australian residents. Of course, we advise choosing items carefully since they don’t offer refunds, exchanges, or credit if you regret them later.

Upon purchase, we find their informative team and website valuable too. They don’t run short of care and maintenance instructions for the upkeep of the furniture and homewares.

Online purchases are also made easy with their selection of payment options (including credit cards). However, they currently don’t accept gift cards or store credits for online shopping.

This may be a disadvantage for some since many of their designer pieces may be expensive.

If you see yourself repurchasing their products, we think their loyalty program would be useful. You can create an account, earn points, and get rewards so you can save more as a regular customer.

Should you be interested, Jardan has 3 stores in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne, so we believe more people can reach them.

Pros

  • Cares about durability and sustainability
  • Offers free shipping on homeware orders over $150
  • Provides a loyalty program
  • Has 3 accessible stores

Cons

  • Doesn’t accept gift cards or store credits online
  • Designer pieces may be expensive

If you want innovative and minimalist designs, Öopenspace is among our favourite furniture stores in Perth.

We think it’s impressive that they source designs from European and Australian artisanal brands for a modern take. These items also come with an inherent Scandinavian flair to showcase minimalistic designs that are functional and long-lasting.

It’s handy that a bunch of their furniture has customisable options too. For instance, one of their leather sofas has a moveable backrest to suit any space.

On top of that, we like that they offer both flat-packed and readily assembled products. It depends on your preference whether you want to be adventurous or let them arrange the furniture for you (at an extra cost).

It’s also reassuring that their team consists of a multidisciplinary team of designers and architects. This shows that they can provide both beautiful and liveable spaces, in our opinion.

They also make payments easier with their multiple payment methods. They accept all major credit cards, bank deposits, and cash payments – just note there is a 2% surcharge for AMEX and Diners cards.

It’s advisable to visit Öopenspace’s showroom from Mondays to Saturdays since not all of their products are showcased online. A decent parking space is available, although this is limited.

Pros

  • Innovative and minimalist European designs
  • Some furniture has customisable options
  • Has both flat-packed and readily assembled items
  • Accepts multiple payment methods

Cons

  • 2% surcharge for AMEX and Diners cards
  • Limited parking space

designFARM is a great option among furniture stores in Perth if you can’t decide on a single design. Impressively, this store has a generous selection from classic, traditional designs to sophisticated, modern items.

They can provide numerous international and local brands too. We love their big portfolio though it might get overwhelming with the endless options.

For us, this makes it more convenient to mix and match designs suitable to your taste and make your rooms unique. Still, be mindful of your choices since some items may be costly.

In addition, their showroom is located in the Perth Central Business District (CBD). We think this makes it strategic for both northern and southern residents to access.

Plus, their curated space is constantly changing so you’ll find something new and interesting whenever you visit. You also don’t have to worry about cash since they accept AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa, and PayPal for payments.

designFARM is open to the public from Mondays to Fridays. But, we recommend arranging an appointment so one of their expert residential or commercial consultants can assist you.

Conveniently, parking is available at the rear of their showroom. This can be accessed from Hay St when you turn right at the laneway just before their building.

Pros

  • Offers many traditional and modern items
  • Provides numerous international and local brands
  • Accepts various payment options
  • Strategic location in the Perth CBD

Cons

  • Some items may be costly
  • Endless options may get overwhelming
