Australian Pinnacle Tours stands out for having luxury coaches, standard 4WD, and buses as methods of transportation.
Their tour offerings include popular destinations such as Pinnacle Desert, Wave Rock, Rottnest Island, and Margaret River.
I recently took their Pinnacle Desert tour and found it exceptionally comfortable, thanks to their well-equipped bus which had USB ports, toilets, and leather seats. The tour guides were informative, and their pre-trip advisories helped me prepare for the heat.
In addition, they made sure to show us the kangaroos and emus properly without disturbing the wildlife. I had plenty of time to take photos, and I learned a lot about them too.
In terms of downsides, however, their tours are pricey. Also, their travel buses tend to be crowded.
Once in a lifetime experience!
“Compliments on the Pinnacle stargazing tour. The ride from Perth was smooth and safe. The coach is really clean and comfortable! Captain John provided a detailed and informative commentary during the drive to the Pinnacle. Captain Chris gave an engaging explanation of the stars and demonstrated his extensive knowledge. Once in a lifetime experience! Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.”

Most tour guides are rather impatient but Luke was just amazing.
“Booked the Pinnacles Yanchep and Swan Valley tour for a group of 7. Was traveling with my mums aged 75 and 80. Luke was our tour guide. He was so thoughtful in providing reserved front seats for the mums and waited for them patiently when they were slow. Most tour guides are rather impatient but Luke was just amazing. He was well read and eloquent and kept us entertained throughout with history, current affairs and much more. We had a lovely time. Would highly recommend 👌”

Perth Wildlife Encounters are the primary tour providers of the Penguin Island in Shoalwater Islands Marine Park. They offer a variety of tours like walking tours, snorkeling, cruises, and more, with perks like penguin feeding and complimentary drinks.
Recognized with multiple Ecotourism Awards from the Western Australian Tourism Awards and an EcoStar certification, they demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability.
Their crew is also friendly and accommodating. They provide information with humor, which makes for a light and fun experience.
However, they could improve by adding more comfortable seating for the elderly on their cruise boats. Also, their fees are a bit high.

Absolutely highly recommend doing the swim with the dolphins.
“Absolutely highly recommend doing the swim with the dolphins. The crew were amazing and so helpful and knowledgeable. We saw so many dolphins and had them swimming all around us. Absolutely made my family from Slovenia so happy. This is a must for everyone even if you are scared to do it you must embrace it. We felt completely safe at all times ❤️”

Best of Perth Tours specializes in touring small groups. They can create highly customized itineraries, making them great for those who want to take time for wildlife photography and content making.
Led by Tim, a seasoned tour guide with over 10 years of experience, the company offers a warm and enthusiastic approach to guiding. They’re especially recommendable for families, as they’re good at accommodating infants. Their rates for families are also affordable.
For safari tours, they have the Wildlife Park tour package that provides access to over 200 native birds and iconic animals like kangaroos and koalas.
That said, they can’t accommodate large groups. Also, most of their tours are near or within the CBD, which may be a deal breaker for those seeking more adventurous itineraries.
Tim was such a great tour guide.
“ Tim was such a great tour guide. A great communicator who made the whole process so easy. Also very knowledgeable about the wineries and wines in the Swan valley.
He was also so accommodating to our accessibility needs, a refreshing point of difference from some of the bigger tour companies who didn’t want to deal with a foldable wheelchair.

WA NT Tours stands out for having one of the largest sets of tour packages in Perth. All center around showcasing the best of Western Australia through many means such as caravan, air, kayaking, boat, and more.
With over 23 years of experience in the industry, they excel in accommodating diverse tourist preferences regarding the destination, activities, and duration.
One of their best safari tours is the Active Escape, which lasts 23 days. It includes snorkeling with seals, reef swimming with manta rays, quokka observation, and more!
I appreciate their commitment to educating tourists about Aboriginal folklore and beliefs during their travels.
On the downside, however, some customers complained of rude service from their drivers. Also, they take a couple of days to reply to their website’s contact form.
Very good tour operators.

Wild West Charters specializes in safari boat tours, focusing on Perth’s prime spots for aquatic wildlife such as Swan River, Rottnest Island, and Carnac Island. They use deluxe recreational jet boats that ensure smooth and enjoyable trips.
Their tour guides are experts at the exact locations and times for the wildlife to appear. They’re almost always able to showcase pelicans, seagulls, jellyfish, and dolphins.
The crew is also cheerful and accommodating. They’re good at explaining the wildlife around, keeping a light tone.
That said, their services are pricey. Also, they sometimes cancel scheduled tours abruptly.
Phoebe’s knowledge of the lore and engaging personality made her the perfect guide for us.
“Phoebe’s knowledge of the lore and engaging personality made her the perfect guide for us.
All the beautiful sailboats, the famous blue boat house, and the high class real estate were also packed expertly into this fast paced but relaxing 90 minutes. This tour is worth every penny and typically I avoid all touristy types of activities.”
