Skip the tipsiness and hangover with the best mocktails in Perth!
As the years pass, I’ve found that my affection for alcohol has waned. The number of times I have to call in sick due to hangovers, even after just a couple of drinks, has grown tiresome.
That’s why I’ve enthusiastically embraced the world of mocktails. These non-alcoholic delights are a sensory explosion of flavours that thrill my tastebuds, all without the worry of feeling tipsy after a few sips.
I’ve been so smitten with these vibrant beverages that I’ve compiled a list of the best mocktail spots in Perth so you can try them too. Happy sipping!

Let’s start off the list with one of the most prestigious bars you can find in Perth: Songbird Bar. Nestled on the 5th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, this rooftop oasis offers stunning views of the Swan River and the city skyline.
This place is all about elegance, as it features plush lounge furniture and cosy terrace fireplaces that always make my drinking experiences here extra special. One mocktail I always keep coming back to here is their Sacred Kingfisher.
Named after one of Australia’s iconic birds, this mocktail features a delectable mix of lime juice, raspberry syrup, and passionfruit syrup. The pavlova foam on top perfectly complements the drink’s zesty flavour with its subtle sweetness.

A place that caught my attention in my hunt for the best local mocktails is the Republic of Fremantle. It’s located right in the heart of Fremantle‘s West End and is quite renowned for its innovative grape-to-glass distilling methods.
But of course, it’s not their world-class alcoholic drinks we’re excited for. One mocktail you should look out for is their Faux-Mo, which has a citrusy and refreshing taste thanks to its amazing combination of mint, strawberry, and lime.
Pro tip: If you’re curious as to how they make their delicious drinks, you can learn by attending one of their cocktail-making classes. It only costs $90, and it will teach you many cocktail and mocktail recipes that you can try at home.

Another fun mocktail spot I love to visit in Fremantle’s West End is Nieuw Ruin. It’s located within a 150-year-old building that perfectly highlights what makes this bar so good: cool drinks and relaxing vibes.
If I can only pick one mocktail from their menu, it has to be their Non No. 1. Made with a mix of camomile and raspberry, it has that fruity and mildly floral taste, which is so refreshing to drink on hot summer days.

As one of their most avid visitors, I can tell you that their Orange and Mandarine 0% Spritz is IT. It’s all about that fruity sensation that’ll leave a good impression on your tastebuds thanks to its refreshing soda water!

With branches in North Fremantle and Como, Old Bridge Cellars is my go-to shop whenever I want to enjoy a wine or a mocktail at home. Since its establishment in the late 1980s, it’s become one of Perth’s most popular liquor shops.
Here, you’ll find a rich variety of mocktail drinks concocted by renowned distilleries like Heineken and Plus & Minus. They also carry products from lesser-known brands like Lightning Minds and Polka, offering a great selection for everyone.
If you’re looking for recommendations, my top choice here is Polka’s Davidson Plum & Lilly Pilly sparkling wine. It’s been expertly de-alcoholised to ensure that the only flavours you’ll savour are the naturally tart and bittersweet notes of the grapes.
Pro tip: If you’re unsure which mocktail to order, consider joining their OBC Quarterly Wine Drop service. Their professional sommeliers will curate a selection just for you. This wine subscription service is fully customisable, so you can let their staff know you’d prefer non-alcoholic options.

Another classy cocktail bar in the Perth CBD you shouldn’t miss is Bobeche. Tucked away in the basement of The Heritage on St Georges Terrace, this hidden gem has been enchanting cocktail lovers since 2012.
I became one of those cocktail lovers very quickly. They didn’t have to try hard because the atmosphere here is simply magical, with its century-old speakeasy vibe, complete with dim lights, red silk curtains, and cosy leather sofas.
And don’t get me started on their impressive selection of mocktails! My go-to mocktail here is the Aperitivo Spritz, with its unique mix of bittersweet and refreshing flavours, thanks to ingredients like blood orange, grapefruit, and pepperberry.

If you’re looking to admire the sunset while sipping on some mocktails, you have to check out The Reveley. Located right on the water’s edge at Elizabeth Quay, this classy restaurant offers stunning views of the Swan River and South Perth.
While I must confess that I’m not a regular here due to how popular and pricey their meals are, I can confidently say their mocktails are top-notch. My favourite, the Yeah Nah-Garita, is especially worth mentioning.
It features a tantalising blend of lime, orange, mango, and lemonade, creating a delightful mix of zesty and sweet flavours. The addition of the non-alcoholic Seedlip Grove 42 spirit also adds a special kick that almost resembles its alcoholic version.
Pro tip: The best time to visit The Reveley is on Saturdays, specifically at either 11:30 AM or 2:30 PM. That’s when their bottomless promotion takes effect. $55 per person will get you free-flowing mocktails and a delectable three-course share-style menu.

Sports fans probably already know about Varsity because it’s one of the hottest sports bars in Perth. This place perfectly captures the spirit of an American college bar, with its big screens showing live sports and fun crowds who know how to party.
Given they cater to people of various ages, it’s no surprise that they boast an impressive selection of non-alcoholic beverages. That includes their bestselling mocktails like the Virgin Miami Vice and Virgin Passionfruit Magic Mojito.
Whenever I watch a football game here with my pals, I always make sure to grab one of their Virgin Caribbean Cane Piña Coladas. It’s a super refreshing drink with fruity flavours and a nice kick of Caribbean spices, making it taste delightfully exotic.

This one will probably surprise you because it’s not a bar but a burger spot! Check out Milky Lane, a hamburger restaurant that operates in many locations across most major cities in Australia.
The one in Elizabeth Quay is my go-to whenever I’m getting the munchies. Not only do they have some mouthwatering burgers, but they also have an impressive selection of cocktails that you can ask to be served as mocktails instead.
My favourite mocktail is their Biscoff Espresso Martini. You can already probably tell from its name, but it’s a creamy, indulgent treat with a rich coffee flavour, a hint of hazelnut, and a delicious Biscoff spread that adds a sweet, cinnamon-spiced twist.

Planet Royale is easily one of the most unique bars in Perth. Located in Northbridge, this place feels like a retro pop-culture playground with its neon lights, arcade gaming machines, and early 90s decor.
Their menu is also designed to match the retro gamer vibes perfectly. Not only do they offer all-time favourites like burgers, fries, and pizzas, but they also have an amazing variety of cocktails and mocktails that everyone will love!
One mocktail I always order here is the Twilight Orchard. It’s a fruity mix of berry, apple, and lemon that’s balanced perfectly with the subtle floral hints from the lavender syrup.
