Remember the story I’ve mentioned about my friends and me buying a powered scooter for our dear friend? We actually bought it from Unicare Health Australia, located in Bentley.

Founded in 1985, their product range includes ultra-lightweight wheelchairs, lift and recline chairs, and nursing care beds.

What’s great about Unicare is that they don’t require customers to physically visit their store to try out their products. Through their free in-home trial service, one of their mobile showrooms can visit your address to showcase their products.

Furthermore, they also have their own repair shop where you can have your mobility aid equipment fixed if needed.

Unfortunately, not all customers had a great shopping experience here like I did. Some people told me the staff messed up their orders, with the product delivered to them being a completely different model from the one they wanted.

For me, the thing that makes APE great is their competitive prices. In fact, they offer wholesale pricing to registered clinicians and health professionals! 

Furthermore, medical professionals who are looking to start their own physio clinics can take advantage of their start-up discounts to save more money. All products APE sells can be bought via a zero-interest financing plan, so don’t be afraid to buy the best equipment they offer!

Sadly, while their product range is impressive, their delivery service is not. A couple of former customers told me they had to wait weeks before their orders arrived.

Of course, having an impressive product range is nothing if most of them are of substandard quality. Thankfully, that’s not the case, as they source these products from renowned brands like 3M, Bainbridge, and Hartmann.

Another thing I love about the shop is its free nationwide delivery service, which you can enjoy on orders as low as $50. 

However, one thing I dislike about them is that some of their products, like mobility aids, aren’t stocked regularly. Some former customers also told me no one answered their calls or emails.
