As a National Association of Information Destruction (NAID)-certified company, they implement security measures that are up to industry standards when handling your documents. 

Aside from their simplistic yet secure on-site paper shredding service, I’m also a big fan of their best price guarantee. They will match any cheaper quote given by their competitors and further lower theirs by 10% to sweeten the deal.

However, not everything is fine and dandy with them, as some clients told me that they sometimes cancel appointments abruptly and don’t return their calls.

For those who take security and confidentiality seriously, there’s Shred-X Secure Destruction. Founded in 1999, this NAID-certified company provides document destruction, data storage decommissioning, and product destruction services.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, they’re all about security. For their paper shredding service, they utilise dual shred technology to ensure nothing remains readable in your documents.

Furthermore, their transport trucks are equipped with GPS trackers and smart locks. All of their drivers are also carefully vetted and screened based on security specifications set by the federal and state governments.

Once the shredding process is finished, they’ll arrange for its disposal to ensure complete destruction. If you’ve marked your papers as non-confidential, they’ll instead recycle them after shredding.

Sadly, having an extremely thorough paper shredding service means their prices don’t come cheap.

CTI Shredding and Recycling is one of the oldest paper shredding companies you’ll find in Perth. Established in 1974, it’s extremely impressive to know that they provide their services not only in Perth but also in Western Australia’s rural regions, like Kalgoorlie and Albany.

Their shredding facility in Bibra Lake is guarded with CCTV cameras 24/7, and every employee is required to sign a confidentiality clause in their contracts before hiring.

Furthermore, they allow clients to witness the entire shredding process from start to finish to assure them that their documents are disposed of discreetly.

However, I was disappointed when I found out that they still charge a service fee even if they fail to collect a client’s destruction bin for whatever reason.

Docu-Shred is another veteran in Perth’s paper shredding industry. Founded in 1996, they offer lockable wheelie bins that clients can hire for one-off or scheduled shredding services.

Thankfully, their shredding process is designed to meet the standards set by the Privacy Act. Once the documents are verified to be completely destroyed, the shredded paper is then packaged for recycling.

Beyond paper shredding, they can also assist you in destroying other materials like tapes and plastics.

Sadly, while it’s commendable that they can serve most suburbs in Perth, the maximum wheelie bin size they can provide to their customers is 240 litres. If the number of documents you need to shred is greater than that, I strongly suggest you look for other options.

Brandon’s Shredding Boxes is a paper shredding business that has a heartwarming and inspiring origin. It was founded by Brandon, a young man with autism, with the help of his supportive mother, Simone.

He’s more than capable of running his business. He runs it as a monthly service where he drops empty, secure boxes at his clients’ addresses to store their documents in. Then, he collects them at the end of the month and destroys the documents with his commercial-grade shredders. 

Another awesome thing about Brandon is that every piece of shredded paper he collects is used for his cute paper mache creations that he sells to support the disability community.

Sadly, he and his mother can only accommodate suburbs that are near Cockburn Central.
