Betty’s Burgers was founded by David Hales, Nik Rollison, and Michael Tripp in 2014 with the goal of providing a no-fuss dining experience anyone can enjoy.

That’s why they designed a simple burger menu with options suitable for both young and old people. It contains classic burgers, double cheeseburgers, and even chicken sandwiches.

The Betty’s Classic is their bestselling burger, which features a juicy Angus beef patty, complemented by fresh slices of onion and tomatoes and topped off with a slice of cheese. 

It’s served with their special sauce, which is tangy and creamy with a hint of spice.

Inspired by the city of Compton and its contributions to the world of hip-hop, brothers Andrew and Michael Theodosiades opened Compton Burgers. They wanted it to be a place where Perthites could enjoy American burgers and appreciate the said music genre.

Their burger restaurant in the Perth CBD is filled with murals depicting famous hip-hop artists like Coolio and Dr. Dre. Their burgers, such as Dr. Drecon and Cheezy-E, are even named after these artists.

A particular burger the Theodosiades brothers are proud of is the Killa Coolio 100, which they made with Coolio himself. 

It’s a mouth-watering combination of beef patty, bacon, sliced steak, cheese, tomato, onion, and mayonnaise. The savoury and smokey flavours of the patties and steak are then topped off with their special creamy, cheesy gravy.

Ribs & Burgers is a boutique-style restaurant founded by Bradley Michael and Chad Rahme with the goal to serve better, healthier, and more delicious burgers than regular burger joints. 

To make that happen, they source their ingredients locally to ensure their burgers are fresh. Their patties, in particular, come from grass-fed and hormone-free cows.

You can choose whether your burger will have a beef, chicken, or plant-based patty.

Their bestselling burger is the Wagyu Royale, which features a premium Wagyu beef patty that has more marbling and is more tender than standard beef. The patty is topped off with lettuce, melted cheese, pickles, onions, and their special sauce.

Varsity is not your regular burger restaurant; it’s a sports bar that aims to be the perfect hangout spot where friends can relax and enjoy watching their favourite sports. 

Their menu features various dishes, and their most prominent offerings are burgers, pizzas, and beers.

They mostly offer different styles of American cheeseburgers, but they also have special ones, like their spicy Sloppy Joe burger, which is made with beef chilli, onion rings, jalapenos, pickles, and bacon bits.

To balance out the burger’s spiciness, a mix of slightly salty cheese whip and sweet BBQ sauce is added.

Aside from live sports games, Varsity also keeps its guests entertained by hosting live comedy shows from time to time.

Bad Love Burger Co. was founded in 2020 by Tristan Chambers with the goal of using the Smashburger grill technique to make his burgers stand out from the competition.

This technique is done by smashing the mince on the hotplate with a spatula, creating juicy patties with lacey edges.

They have a huge range of burgers that you can enjoy with a couple of sides, like popcorn chicken and fries. Their biggest burger is the Triple Okla, which consists of three smashed patties topped with cheese, pickles, onions, and mustard.

It has a rich and beefy taste thanks to the smashed patties. Meanwhile, the other ingredients add a touch of sourness and saltiness that complements the meaty flavour.

Aside from beef and chicken burgers, Bad Love Burger Co. also offers vegetarian burgers made with panko-crusted mushrooms and plant-based patties.
