Vanessa founded House of Ten in 2017 as a nail and waxing salon and then turned it into a co-working studio in January 2023 to help small beauty businesses have a space where they can share their craft.

Located at 1004 Beaufort Street in Inglewood, Kustom Klaws is one of locals’ favourite nail salons. Headed by award-winning nail technician and retired burlesque performer Kenjai, the shop offers some of Perth’s most eccentric and extravagant nail art.

The shop’s nail technicians’ love for bold and loud designs is evident in the bright bubble-gum pink walls and furniture. The inside just shouts “girl haven,” reflecting the salon’s “boss nails for boss women” motto.

Kustom Klaws’ nail technicians, Demi and Cheyenne, have plenty of experience and a good reputation behind their backs. They only use nail products that don’t contain MMA (methyl methacrylate), a toxic chemical found in some acrylics and nail polish, to make sure their customers have beautiful and safe nails.
