We think the 3 hours you spend at WA Skydiving Academy might be some of the best moments of your life.
Their Applecross trip offers skydives at various altitudes (8,000 to 15,000 feet) starting at $350. We find these options valuable, so flyers may take it easy on their first try and work their way up.
The briefing is quite short too, so you won’t waste a lot of time. Before skydivers can jump, they only need to talk to an experienced tandem master for 20 minutes for guidance.
Try to maximise your first jump course because skydivers are free to use all dropzone amenities. This includes the restrooms, covered parking areas, BBQs, and picnic tables.
It’s delightful for us that customers may use their catering service as well. Self-serve beverage and snack vending machines are available at the drop zone.
Once the parachute is open, the skydiving team takes care of getting flyers to Tompkins Park in Applecross without any trouble. We believe sports fans may recognise the park because we heard it’s famous for rugby, soccer, cricket, and other team sports.
Due to its spacious quality, Tompkins Park can offer a beautiful setting. We recommend you consider holding special occasions like weddings here for a unique experience.
You may also get a copy of your Freefall DVD if you want to keep your exhilarating experience alive. Note that these add-ons cost extra, so you won’t face any surprise charges.
Just keep in mind to book on weekdays since they’re unavailable on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pros
- Provides multiple altitude options
- Beautiful landing locations
- Available catering service
- Experiences may be captured in a DVD
Cons
- Extra services cost more (not in a single package)
- Closed on weekends

Skydive Australia offers one of the best skydiving experiences in Perth, promising a breath-taking 60-second freefall from thousands of feet high!
With them, you can soar toward the Perth Central Business District at a pace of roughly 200 km/h. We feel that adrenaline junkies and fear conquerors would have the time of their lives.
This experience has a starting price of $429, and we appreciate that they accept Visa, Mastercard, Afterpay, and Humm repayments for financial flexibility.
We find it convenient that clients don’t have to stress about transportation since they can get a free pick-up from the company. The staff also provides customised safety training and a skydiving certificate when desired.
For groups of 4 or more, there are many packages to choose from. However, if you’ve completed one of their Accelerated Freefall (AFF) courses, we like that you can skydive alone for a thrilling day.
For reservations, we suggest picking a time as early in the day as possible to increase your chances of getting the jump. This is because the weather changes may influence your schedule later.
In our opinion, they could still improve by updating their clients about their postponed skydiving sooner. This prevents a big hassle for those who live far away.
But if you need to rebook, do so up to 24 hours before your booked jump date. Otherwise, Skydive Australia will impose a $50 rebooking fee on any modifications.
Pros
- Offers skydiving above Perth CBD
- Able to provide free pick-up
- Accepts multiple payment methods
- Can give skydiving certificates
Cons
- Communication needs improvement
- Strict rebooking policy

Geronimo Sky Diving is one of our favourite skydiving companies in Perth because of its many perks.
After the 20-minute flight over Cape Naturaliste, Geographe Bay, and the Margaret River coastline, we recommend getting your complimentary drink here.
We believe beach fans would be happy with their parachute landing sites. These include Bickley Bay Beach, Army Jetty Beach (Thomson Bay), and Salmon Bay Beach.
Nonetheless, keep in mind that the weather affects every beach landing. As a result, you won’t know where to land safely until the day of your skydive.
The skydiving crew ends the day with a drink of beer or wine. But, this comes with additional payments too.
Though if you’re on a tight budget, we suggest taking advantage of their special offers and discounts. For instance, their spring mid-week deal might help you save up to $100 on a package that includes a 15,000-foot skydive and a return island flight.
Still, do note that they may be unable to provide a refund since this depends on the situation. Alternatively, we’re glad they can provide a voucher, extend its validity, or transfer it to another name when necessary.
Additionally, they provide optional video packages so that you can show others about your experience.
Pros
- Offers multiple skydiving benefits
- Many beach landing sites
- Provides seasonal special discounts
- Available video packages
Cons
- May not always give a refund
- Info about landing location may be provided late
4. iFLY

If the idea of jumping out of a plane makes you uncomfortable, we recommend iFLY skydiving in Perth so you can try this indoors first.
Once you’re within the dome, we appreciate that all you have to do is let the wind take its course – it’s easy to let the air take care of the rest.
For us, this is the best first-time experience because it’s appropriate for any age, starting at 3 years old!
This reassures clients that this is a safe activity – no wonder many people pick this activity for team-building exercises, educational groups, and kids’ birthday parties.
Additionally, we’re in awe that they welcome flyers of all skill levels – they even offer wheelchair accessibility with highly trained instructors to help.
Just a hint: you can nearly always fly with iFLY for less money if you can do so during their off-peak hours.
Naturally, there are more reservations on Mondays to Fridays throughout the school year. We think this can make it challenging to secure slots for regular customers.
For this reason, we advise scheduling your flights for before 10 am or after 5:30 pm if you like to skydive on the weekends.
At iFLY, a group is likewise defined as 6 or more people, and those who book together can benefit from discounts. Additionally, we love that there’s no limit to the group size, so more participants can have more fun.
Just make sure to bring extra cash since there are added charges for higher flights and add-ons like photos.
Pros
- Great for beginners
- Accommodates all ages and special needs
- Entertains various team events and celebrations
- Accepts as many people as possible in a group
Cons
- Hard to book during weekdays
- Charges extra for other additions
5. Skydive Jurien Bay

Skydive Jurien Bay provides some of the best 25-minute skydiving in Perth. They’re one of our picks if you want to make the most of your limited time.
If you’re worried about transportation, we believe their free shuttle bus every Thursday is helpful to groups coming to skydive. This is booked via appointment and returns the same day as well.
To see as many great views as possible, the breathtaking Turquoise Coast, Jurien Bay Marine Park, and the Pinnacles may be part of your itinerary while you freefall above them.
Each skydiver would also be given a certificate of completion, and the celebration would take place in a Perth pub. At the end of the day, we appreciate that clients may enjoy a complimentary beverage at Murray Street Grill or the Jurien Bay Hotel.
Their prices start at $309, which we think is reasonable compared to others. But if you want to save more money, it’s advisable to go with buddies because it will be less expensive as a group.
Furthermore, we found that winter would be the ideal time for reservations. Most of the cold fronts that reach Perth and other southern cities don’t generally affect Jurien Bay.
Since there are strong sea breezes in the afternoons, you’re more likely to jump if you book earlier in the summer.
One drawback, though: their staff may be a tad pushy about upselling some of their more expensive offerings. We advise firmly communicating your needs, so you purchase only the services you prefer.
Pros
- Many sights viewed in a limited time
- Available free shuttle bus
- Reasonable pricing
- Gives out completion certificates
Cons
- Tends to upsell pricier offers
- Their shuttle bus is only available on Thursdays
