Pros

  • Over 20 years of experience
  • High-quality colours on screen prints
  • Wide range of materials for printing
  • Reasonable prices

Cons

  • No 24-hour express services
  • Limited printing services

Uptempo Design is one of our top screen printing shops in Perth. They have more than 20 years of experience, so we feel that they’re a reliable option for business owners.

And though they seem to offer only a few printing services (including screen printing), we believe they make up for it by offering a wide range of clothes and materials.

In addition to clothes, we also like that they can print on water bottles, mugs, backpacks, notebooks, and even umbrellas. Due to this, we believe they already cover the majority of commonly printed items.

We also heard from previous customers that the quality of their clothes and prints is high and that the colours don’t fade easily.

If you need help with your visual design, we also appreciate that they can help you with their designers. But of course, this may cost you a tad extra.

Nevertheless, note that Uptempo Design can’t do rush orders in less than 24 hours. The fastest they can do is rush orders within 48 hours.

Once you send in your drawings, some clients may still require some changes to their size or resolution. So, we find it reasonable that 24 hours isn’t enough time to get everything done.

Pros

  • Numerous shirt styles to choose from
  • Can cater to small and bulk orders
  • Able to accommodate rush orders
  • Provides delivery and pickup

Cons

  • Some complaints about responsiveness
  • Can be busy at times

The Fabric Printer is among the most reliable screen printing stores in Perth we’ve seen, due to their many services.

For one, they offer screen printing, digital printing, needlework, plastisol transfer, and re-labeling. They can also handle both small and large orders, so we think they can cater to most clients.

Plus, we feel that they have almost all the materials you may need! This goes for t-shirts, singlets, polos, hoodies, jackets, pants, safety wear, sportswear, hats, and bags.

For added efficiency, you may also choose to have your items sent to you or to pick them up at a certain time from their location.

More importantly, we love that they can handle rush and express orders as well! Rush orders may take 2 to 3 days, while express orders take 24 hours or less.

Of course, the final duration may still be subject to your order and the type of printing services you require.

However, they’re usually busy because they handle many customers. So before you place an order, we advise you to call them to confirm if they can handle your requirements.

Keep in mind that there’s a minimum order for some types of printing too, but this is generally for 10 or fewer orders.

The Fabric Printer has a physical address, but you have to make an appointment to go there. Alternatively, you can always place an order with them online if you don’t have enough free time to spare.

3. The Print Bar

Pros

  • Lots of garments are available
  • No minimum or maximum orders
  • Can be used as a dropshipping service
  • Ships locally and worldwide

Cons

  • Some staff may not be as reliable
  • Minor complaints on quality

We think The Print Bar is a good choice if you want to start your own small business making t-shirts. Though they don’t have a physical store in Perth, we appreciate that they ship affordably all over the country and the world.

For us, it’s also handy that clients can start making their own T-shirts by using their website’s online creator.

In our opinion, this makes the process easier because all you have to do is choose a shirt, put in your design, and pay for your order.

This screen printing shop in Perth has different kinds of printing items too. They have everything from t-shirts, polos, and sportswear to baby clothes, aprons, pillows, and tea towels – you can also bring your own clothes!

They also don’t have a minimum or maximum order, but we think bigger orders with them are better. A few clients we spoke with commended their efficiency.

Still, one customer told us that they didn’t get the best customer service because the staff wasn’t helpful enough or didn’t answer all their questions.

If you want to use The Print Bar’s services to start a t-shirt business, we recommend placing small orders first to test whether their services match your printing specifications.

Pros

  • Over 3 decades of experience
  • Also offers embroidery and transfer services
  • Lots of materials are available for printing
  • Offers affordable prices

Cons

  • Shorter open times
  • Unavailable 3 days a week

Sprint Screenprinting & Embroidery is another of our picks for your screen printing needs in Perth. The owner has at least 30 years of experience, so we feel confident in their skills in providing high-quality prints.

We also like that they have numerous items we can print onto. This includes t-shirts, badges, stubby holders, towels, sashes, jackets, sporting clothes, bandanas, and more!

For us, this makes them one of our go-to shops for various businesses and occasions.

And if screen printing isn’t suitable for your requirements, we’re glad that they can also offer embroidery or transfer services instead.

Moreover, the staff told us that almost all of their artwork and digitising for their screen printing and embroidery services is done in-house. We think this keeps their costs down and reasonable for their clients.

If you’re interested, you can fill out their online quote form. Just note that they ask comprehensive questions about your design and ask for an attachment of your artwork, so this may take some time if you don’t have it ready yet.

Additionally, Sprint Screenprinting & Embroidery is open only 4 days a week, except on Friday to Sunday. They’re also available from 9 am to 4 pm, which seems shorter than several other printing shops in the city.

Pros

  • Skilled team of designers with awards
  • Ideal for casual and corporate clothes
  • Able to provide samples first
  • Quick turnaround times

Cons

  • Requires credit card information before giving samples
  • Their parking space is a bit small

From workwear to streetwear, we believe Red Hot Design is among the top screen printing services in Perth that can help you with your next project.

It’s impressive to us that they have an award-winning team of screen printers who can translate your design across a wide range of items. This goes from t-shirts and hoodies to work and leisure wear.

Some of their clients also told us about their fast turnaround time. For us, this is very efficient for larger print runs, especially for bigger businesses.

Moreover, we feel that those who are hesitant to try their services would be happy to know that they provide samples before ordering.

But do note that they ask for credit card details for this. This is for security purposes, should the garments not be returned in their original condition.

And in case you prefer direct-to-garment printing (DTG), we like that they also offer unlimited colour options with minimal set-up time. We advise you to discuss your preferences well to ensure which printing service is best for you.

Conveniently, there’s a parking space near Red Hot Design’s location if you wish to visit them in person. Just note that only a few vehicles may take advantage of the small area with the roof shade.
