The landscapers I hired were from AAA Garden Services, a family-owned company run by Kavi and Manisha since 2013. They offer a range of landscape maintenance services for those in the Perth Hills and surrounding areas. 

For my garden, they handled everything, including lawn mowing, fertilising, hedge trimming, pruning, and garden cleanup. But what really impressed me was their specialised rose gardening service. 

They applied intensive fertilisation and pruning techniques that made my rose plants flourish like never before.

Another thing I appreciated was their seasonal landscape maintenance. They prepared my yard for each upcoming season by planting new flowers in spring and mulching in winter to protect my plants from the cold.

However, I did notice that their fees were on the higher side. It might be wise to check out other companies first.

If you want to get more bang for your buck, then Landscapes For Life is worth checking out. Located in Maida Vale, this landscaping company has been serving both residential and commercial clients in Perth since 2009.

They offer a wide range of services, like lawn mowing, weeding, pruning, and fertilising. They also handle reticulation (irrigation systems) and mulching to keep your plants healthy. On top of that, they provide outdoor cleaning services like pressure washing driveways, cleaning gutters, and removing rubbish.

Moreover, I appreciate that they’ve partnered up with Buy One Give One to ensure a portion of their earnings goes to charity.

Sadly, being unavailable between Fridays and Sundays means they’re a bit harder to book an appointment with.

All Around Gardening Services is a landscaping company that’s been around for more than a decade. They primarily serve the suburbs surrounding the Swan River.

Some key services they provide are lawn mowing, weeding, edging, and pruning. They offer these in three packages with varying price points, so customers can avail of their services without burning a hole in their wallets.

Their most basic package, which includes two gardeners working for an hour, costs $176.

For senior citizens, it’s worth mentioning that they offer aged care gardening services too. Here, clients will always get the same gardeners who are specifically trained to deal with their unique gardening needs and preferences.

Unfortunately, you’ll need to book an appointment with them ASAP, as they only accept a limited number of clients on most days of the week.

As their name suggests, Perth Garden Rescue is all about fixing and maintaining landscapes that have been left unattended for too long. Founded in 2012, they have more than a decade of experience performing weed control, lawn trimming, and debris removal in all suburbs in the Perth Metropolitan Area.

However, what I really like about them is their firebreak maintenance service. Unlike your typical landscape maintenance service, this one implements additional measures like planting fire-resistant vegetation and trimming your landscape to have firebreaks.

In all these services, they use high-performance STIHL commercial gear to ensure they finish all their work within a day or two.

If there’s one thing I probably dislike about them, it’s their tendency to become fully booked quickly. I can somewhat understand why, though, given the complexity of the jobs they usually take.

For homeowners experiencing pest problems in their gardens, Sharp Yards might be able to help. Founded in 2015, they offer extensive pest and plant disease treatments to most of Perth’s northern suburbs, like Yokine and Yanchep. 

These treatments use eco-friendly and advanced pest control techniques like crop trapping and natural oil insecticides to deal with pests like powdery mildew and aphids.

Furthermore, they offer other landscape maintenance services like lawn mowing, weeding, pruning, fertilising, and seasonal cleanups. They also do reticulation installation and maintenance if you need a reliable way to keep your plants watered at all times.

Sadly, the owner, Jamie, mostly carries out his services entirely on his own. This might make him a poor choice for clients with large properties, like commercial clients.
