Even better, they are preferred providers for HBF, Bupa, Medibank Private, NIB, HCF, and CBHS. We think this makes payment easier for patients enrolled in any of these institutions.

Dr. Soroush Salimi was noted to be very professional, thorough, and informative.

We were glad to know that the other dentists on the team were also commended as being friendly and efficient as well. Dr. Justina Teo, in particular, was noted to be calming for her patients.

The staff is also quite friendly and accommodating. They quickly reached out to a few patients when they expressed they weren’t fully satisfied with the clinic’s services.

To fully serve their patients, they offer several types of crowns, which include ceramic, zirconia, and porcelain. Other types include metal fused-to crowns, all-metal crowns, and ceramic fillings.

We like how patients are given the freedom to choose the types of materials they want for their dental crowns.

Their crowns are very realistic and designed to mimic the appearance of natural teeth to appear unnoticeable. We also like the idea of teeth whitening as a complementary procedure to this; it makes your smile look even better.

Probably there are only two things that keep the clinic from being perfect. One is that it’s closed on Sundays, and the other is that one dentist may have more appointments than others.

Helena Street Dental is headed by Dr. Ian Yiannakis and managed by Helen Yiannakis. The clinic provides general dentistry as well as cosmetic and restorative dental solutions.

Many patients regard Dr. Yiannakis as quite friendly and professional. This is probably why he has patients who have been loyal clients of the clinic for over 10 years.

The reception team helps out in making sure that the procedures are explained. We’re impressed that even though they aren’t dentists, they’re still well-versed in these treatments.

The whole atmosphere is calming and comfortable. The patients end up feeling confident and satisfied, which we believe is a great standard that all dental clinics should adhere to.

The numerous choices of dental crowns are notable since they allow patients to choose from varying materials and prices. We think that this is a great feature that shows how considerate the dentists are about their patients’ preferences.

Patients also shared that Dr. Yiannakis helped them overcome their fear of needles. We think this is commendable, as this is probably the top reason why patients avoid seeing their dentists.

Dental clinics, like any service, aren’t without occasional issues. However, we were glad to know that Helena Street Dental’s shortcomings didn’t involve dental crowns.

There were problems with fillings and X-ray diagnosis, though.

Saturdays can be a bit challenging for walk-in patients, as they’re by appointment only. Upon asking, we were informed that Saturdays were reserved for special cases and confirmed schedules.

Nicholson Road Dental Centre has a majority of multinational staff, including its reception team.

We think this is a great arrangement that attracts patients of different cultures and languages. They are also LGBTQ+ friendly and identify as a women-owned clinic.

We like that the members of the dental team have dedicated over 10 years to dentistry. This shows that they’re committed to improving their skills.

Dr. Hossam Ismail, in particular, has been commended for his skill and professional disposition.

Patients even appreciated their ability to reduce nervousness and anxiety that are usually associated with dental visits. We truly applaud their effort!

Their consultations tend to be informative, which most patients appreciate. The dentists are even able to educate their patients on oral care and hygiene.

We think it’s great that these dentists care for their patients’ health over income.

Another thing we like about them is that they tend to help patients understand the consequences of good and bad oral health. Also, we appreciate that their procedures are painless with only very little discomfort. 

The clinic is located in a quiet but central area. There’s also adequate parking for patients with cars.

The only drawback is that patients who use public transportation may need to walk.

The new location for Dentist WA is easier to access for patients by car or public transportation. The practice is open seven days a week, which we think makes it even more convenient for patients to visit in emergency cases.

They are providers of most health fund coverage such as HBF, HCF, Bupa, NIB, and CBHS. The clinic even has HICAPS facilities on-site to process claims immediately.

The reception team at the clinic is very welcoming, friendly, and informed about the procedures. Patients feel that they’re treated incredibly well, for which we highly commend the entire team.

The new location of the clinic is an upgrade from its previous space. Patients appreciate the wonderful ambiance which contributes to calming their anxiety.

The dentists are noted to provide honest diagnoses to their patients, which most of them appreciate. They also appreciate how friendly, helpful, and professional the dentists are while treating them.

Their bedside manner is even better. An appreciative patient was treated thoroughly and painlessly for a complicated tooth situation involving his dental crown.

The dental crowns that the clinic uses are incredibly natural-looking. They even have a special technology that allows them to make dental crowns on the same day right in the clinic.

The only downside to this clinic is that some of its dentists have moved to other practices or for advanced studies. If you prefer having one dentist cater to your dental needs, this isn’t ideal.

Be prepared to switch dentists if you stick with them.

Ranford Road Dental Centre is a great dental clinic since it’s open six days a week. The clinic is also located in an area that’s convenient for people with cars as well as patients using public transportation.

The dentists are noted to be quite skilled at their jobs. While they do practice general dentistry, dental crowns are one of their offered specialties.

We like that their dental crowns are custom-made by their local partner providers. The partnerships have been established over years, assuring patients of their quality.

The dentists explain the procedures in simple and understandable terms. Patients also feel that the dentists are very transparent and upfront about the costs of their treatments, which we also appreciate.

Patients also find it easy to make appointments since the clinic provides online booking. 

The actual treatments are often painless and quick, which we find to be impressive.

We also like how their dentists care for their patients’ teeth. Complimentary dental packs, including floss and mouthwash, are given to patients to encourage good oral health and hygiene.

Clients can save some money since the clinic accepts HBF, aside from HICAPS and Veteran’s Affairs. The clinic even has in-house payment plans to make everything more convenient for patients.

We would like to see the reception team improve their time management skills. While we understand that there can be delays to extended procedures, some patients had very little time to prepare for them.

Additionally, it would be best for everyone at the clinic to advise patients of any add-on rates for extra procedures.

If there’s anything that we wish the clinic would improve upon is the discomfort the patients experienced during the current health crisis.

Government policies prohibited certain procedures from being performed. We suggest double-checking with the clinic if dental crowns are included in the policies.
