She has several cosmetic enhancement specialties aside from breast surgeries, such as rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and labiaplasty.

Dr. Nguyen also actively mentors entrepreneurs, nursing students, and medical students. She’s a member of many medical-related organizations such as the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

What we like right off the bat is how extensive her services are. We feel that the breast reduction procedure is one of her top specialties.

Her surgical cosmetic packages can include breast augmentation or reduction. We appreciate this approach, as this could be a great way to help patients scan through popular procedures instead of going through them one by one.

Patients feel at ease when they consult with Dr. Nguyen since she seems to be very knowledgeable yet kind. We agree that she’s warm and makes people comfortable upon meeting with her.

However, procedures can be a bit costly. If you’re intent on only having breast reduction, then this might not be a concern. 

On the other hand, if you’re looking to add more procedures, it would be best to enquire about her cosmetic packages that include breast reduction.

Due to the number of clients, the reception team can often get unorganised at times. 

Extended client consultations can also contribute to delays. These two can result in miscommunication and avoidable hindrances and interruptions.

Dr. Lewis Blennerhassett is a facial and breast specialist who is fully accredited by the Commonwealth Government of Australia. His private practice is located in Subiaco, which ensures that he will be close to his patients.

Dr. Blennerhassett has a surgical fellowship at the Harvard Medical School in Boston. He’s also a member of several prestigious medical organizations such as the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and WA Hand Surgery Society.

We appreciate that Dr. Blennerhassett makes his patients feel comfortable and at ease. He takes time to answer questions from his patients and keeps them well-informed.

The reception team also has to be commended for their communication skills. Patient information continuity is kept all throughout each procedure, ensuring each patient’s wellness above all else.

We do have to note that due to his extensive expertise, looking at the number of cosmetic procedures offered by Dr. Blennerhassett can be confusing. We feel that for patients who are still curious, the choices can be overwhelming.

Another caution we need to put out there is that due to his expertise, getting an appointment with Dr. Blennerhassett can be slightly challenging. However, you can remedy that by contacting them well in advance.

Dr. Mark Hanikeri has been spending over 20 years in reconstructive plastic surgery to perfect his skills. He currently focuses on plastic surgery for the face, breast, and body.

Dr. Hanikeri has memberships with several world-leading organisations, including the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He’s also registered as a specialist plastic surgeon at the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

We were impressed to learn that he’s also involved in training and teaching upcoming plastic surgeons. Equally noteworthy is that he helped grow the Western Australia Plastic Surgery Centre into the leading practice it is right now.

It was very heartening to see that his reception team is very friendly and informative. We like that they’re very professional and competent all throughout the process.

We found Dr. Hanikeri to pay a lot of attention to details. He also comes across as very honest and respectful.

Another trait we found to be quite admirable is that Dr. Hanikeri explains the procedure from start to finish. We were also impressed that he even performed post-surgery correction on a patient without charge.

We will have to note that breast reduction surgeries have to be referred by your GP. Additionally, due to Dr. Hanikeri’s high demand, appointments can be difficult to schedule.

We suggest making your appointments in advance and enquiring about any requirements you may need to bring with you.

Dr. Guy Watts obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honors from the University of Western Australia. He trained extensively in numerous hospitals in seven countries, including the US, Germany, and Brazil.

After 17 years of medical training exposure in these countries, he finally returned to Perth to establish his own practice. He’s a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons as well as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

What we liked immediately was how Dr. Watts treated his patients. His professional and honest demeanour won us over, aside from being incredibly knowledgeable and comforting.

We also appreciated his thoroughness in explaining the whole breast reduction process right from the start. During the consultation, we were already very well-informed.

Dr. Watts and his team make sure everything goes as well as possible. We were impressed at the level of attentiveness he pays to his patients, which is also reflected in his team.

However, one thing we need to note is you may need a referral from your GP. You can check to see if your specific procedure is covered by Medicare since most elective cosmetic surgeries are not.

We also want to note that there’s an upfront consultation fee of $350. If you decide to proceed with your surgery, there’s also a 20% deposit to secure a surgery date, with the remaining balance to be paid 28 days prior to your procedure.

One more thing to consider is that there is street parking near the clinic. The rate is $4 per hour.

Dr. Vij is an exceptional breast reduction surgeon. Our experience with Dr. Vij left us genuinely impressed.

From the moment we walked into their clinic, it was clear that efficiency was a top priority. The streamlined procedures and meticulous attention to detail set the tone for the entire experience.

Dr. Vij’s treatment options were nothing short of comprehensive. They took the time to thoroughly discuss various approaches, ensuring we felt informed and empowered to make the right decision for our unique situation.

What truly sets Dr. Vij apart is their commitment to patient satisfaction. Their bedside manner is second to none, creating an atmosphere of trust and comfort. They listened attentively to our concerns and provided compassionate care every step of the way.

While quality often comes at a premium, Dr. Vij manages to strike a balance between excellence and affordability. Our investment in their services felt not only justified but also a smart decision in the long run.

However, Dr. Vij can get busy during peak days. We suggest booking an appointment with him ahead of time.

Dr. David Colbert is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, which is the highest Australian qualification for plastic surgeons. 

This is the only qualification in Australia that assures a surgeon follows the highest standards of surgical safety.

He also had several years of training outside of Australia. Notably, he trained at the John Radcliffe Hospital at Oxford University.

Dr. Colbert is also a member of several noteworthy medical organisations and societies. These include the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Western Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Right from the start, we could tell that Dr. Colbert is a cut above most. We were impressed by how professional and warm he was in speaking with his patients.

Another observation that we have to note is that his reception team is equally supportive and capable. Overall, the whole experience will leave patients feeling comfortable and well-informed.

However, we need to caution that consultations have an upfront fee of $250 since it requires a longer time. Since each consultation is highly individualised, your time can range from 30 to 60 minutes.

Breast reduction is also an elective surgery and is usually not covered by Medicare or private health funds. There will be some exceptions though, so we suggest checking with your health insurer. 

As always, we also recommend calling in advance since appointments can fill up pretty quickly.
