K9 Playtime Doggy Daycare & Dog Grooming is my choice whenever I need someone I can entrust my dog to while I’m in Cockburn. The staff here are some of the kindest and most patient people I’ve met.

The biggest praise I can give to this dog daycare is the passion of its staff. They’re committed to their jobs by providing your pet with a safe haven where they can be comfortable and relaxed.

My dog is always very happy whenever I drop him off at this place. He already knows some of the staff members here, and he trusts them enough to be playful and active even when I’m not by his side.

I think a big reason why these guys are so good at their roles is due to their experience. This dog daycare is run by Robert and Emily Baldwin, who both have more than 10 years of experience taking care of dogs.

I also love the fact that K9 Playtime regularly hosts exercise sessions for the dogs. This helps keep them healthy and active while also keeping them from getting bored at the same time.

However, a downside to this dog daycare is that it sometimes cancels reservations abruptly. Some customers had this happen to them, which is disappointing, of course, as they had to find another daycare at the last minute.

Another problem with K9 Playtime is its issues with communication. I sometimes had to send them multiple text messages before I got a reply.

PawPals DayCare & Parlour is another dog daycare I highly recommend due to its awesome facilities. Most of the daycare is designed to let dogs be more active and play with other dogs in the facility.

I checked out this daycare a few times, and I really love how they designed the place. There are dog ramps, small obstacle courses, and toys spread around the daycare where dogs are free to run around and play.

I’m also happy to say that the people in this dog daycare are sincere and caring. One of my friends entrusted them with her anxious dog.

Luckily, the staff already knew what to do and quickly calmed the dog down. My friend was ecstatic to find out that the staff was able to make the dog warm up and eventually play with other dogs.

Another thing that’s good about PawPals DayCare & Parlour is its puppy training services. Try out this great service if you need help making your pup into a friendly and obedient dog.

However, a downside to this dog daycare is that some of its staff are still inexperienced. Some customers told me that their dogs suffered some cuts because the staff wasn’t able to keep them calm during grooming.

I should also warn you that PawPals DayCare & Parlour is very popular and has a high number of customers every day. Your dog might not be attended to at all times because the staff has their hands full most of the time.

FurBaby Dog Daycare & Grooming is a place I regularly visit for a very specific reason. Not only is this place a great option for your dog to stay, but it also has its own cafe where pet owners and visitors can relax.

Yes, you got that right! This dog daycare is also a cafe where you can get some delicious pastries and coffee. 

I sometimes visit the rescue dogs here and hang out with them while sipping a warm cup of coffee.

Anothing thing I think is great about FurBaby Dog Daycare & Grooming is the way it manages pets in its daycare. 

Handlers are only allowed to take care of a small number of dogs, which is good, as it means they can give more attention to each dog they handle.

I asked the staff how frequently they update owners on the status of their pets. I was pleased to hear that they give hourly updates to owners so that they don’t have to worry about the status of their dogs.

However, a downside to FurBaby Dog Daycare & Grooming is its strict limitations on which dogs they allow into their daycare. They only accept dogs that are lighter than 12 kilogrammes.

Another downside to this dog daycare is its customer service, especially in its dog cafe. Some of the staff there sometimes mix up my order, which can be an inconvenience sometimes.

Billy’s Day-Care for Dogs is another dog daycare I recommend thanks to its awesome staff and facilities. A lot of my friends love this place, as it encourages dogs to run around and be themselves.

One of the best things about this daycare is its great facilities. Dogs can run and play around the wide space filled with small obstacle courses and toys.

The place even has a small pond, so the play area looks beautiful, too.

Some of my friends even told me that their dogs had so much fun here that they were so tired when they came back home.

I think a big part of why dogs are so happy in this daycare is due to the caring staff. These guys are praised by my friends for being so warm and cheerful towards dogs that they can immediately gain the dogs’ trust.

The staff of Billy’s Day-Care for Dogs also places socialisation as the most important thing to teach dogs. They encourage the dogs to be friendly and playful with one another.

If you’re interested in giving them a try, don’t worry because you don’t have to travel far. This daycare is just a few kilometres away from the Perth CBD.

However, a downside to Billy’s Day-Care for Dogs is that it sometimes forgets to acknowledge reservations. One of my friends told me that they had to look for other options when this daycare forgot to reply to his reservation for his dog.

Aside from reservations, this dog daycare is also having issues communicating with its customers. A customer told me that they weren’t informed in advance that the dog trainer assigned to their pet was unavailable during their visit.

Canine Cuddles is my recommended dog daycare for residents living in the northern suburbs of Perth. I think this daycare is sincere in its goal of providing your dogs with a safe and fun space.

To start, I appreciate the hardworking staff at Canine Cuddles. A lot of their customers told me that the staff here is very sincere and kind towards their dogs, making them feel more welcome.

I’m also happy to report that this dog daycare is proactive when it comes to updating customers on the status of their pets. Canine Cuddles always sends photo updates twice daily to let customers know the current status of their dogs.

Another thing I love about this dog daycare is that it recognises the importance of letting dogs socialise with one another. The handlers of this daycare always try to get the dogs to know one another and play with each other every session.

Unfortunately, some customers think that Canine Cuddles is too understaffed to effectively monitor every dog they handle. This can be a problem if a fight breaks out between the dogs.

Another slight downside I can say about this dog daycare is its location. It’s in Balcatta, which is already a bit far away for most residents living in the southern parts of Perth, like Fremantle.
