Hilton Electrical is a prominent electrical service company with more than a decade of experience. Serving the entirety of Perth, they’re one of the best for me, as they offer their services at prices many can afford.

For their services, they offer a wide range that includes lighting installations, power outlet repairs, switchboard upgrades, and wiring installations. These services are offered without any call-out fees, so you don’t have to worry about any exorbitant fees if you live on the outskirts of Perth!

Another thing I love about these guys is that they offer special discounts to pensioners. 

The only issue I have with them is that their office’s business hours are extremely limited on weekends. While they do have 24/7 availability for emergency cases, it still stinks that you have to wait until Monday before they can entertain non-critical cases.

Westline Electricians Perth was founded in 2010 and can guarantee same-day services to almost every suburb in Perth.

That includes both emergency and non-critical services! Currently, their electricians can provide electrical inspections, installations, and maintenance to both commercial and residential clients.

They provide 24/7 availability and offer a $55 discount on bookings made through their website. That’s why I strongly suggest you check their website first before giving them a call.

However, even with the generous discount, I still find their services to be slightly more expensive compared to their competitors.

Another thing worth mentioning is that these are covered by their lifetime warranty and money-back guarantee, so you can trust them to make things right if something goes wrong.

Furthermore, clients who are on a tight budget can still enjoy their services as they have a partnership with Humm to provide zero-interest “buy now, pay later” payment plans.

However, a thing I dislike about them is that they have a tendency to change the final price from the initial quote given.

NJP Electrical Services is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 2007. 

Their services include lighting installation, safety inspections, wiring and rewiring, switchboard upgrades, and security system setups. They are also experts when it comes to energy-saving solutions and can provide advice and installation services when it comes to things like solar panels and exhaust ventilation units.

One key aspect I love about them is the way they deliver these services. They have a full-time workshop and purchasing officer who’s responsible for keeping every service van they use stocked with both standard and non-standard equipment. This ensures they can accomplish their jobs within a single day without the need for any follow-up visits.

It’s also nice that they offer interest-free “buy now, pay later” payment plans. 

Sadly, their service area is limited only to suburbs south of the Swan River.

Very responsive and efficient in dealing with our requests

“We have been using NJP for years now and always find them to be very responsive and efficient in dealing with our requests for downlights, outdoor wiring and lighting and any electrical issues. Most recently we changed up our outdoor area and got rid of our spa and created an entertaining area with lighting. We required NJP’s services a number of times to disconnect the spa and prepare wiring for lights and install lighting and install a new power switch. The guys are very polite and friendly and always tidy up after themselves. Highly recommend.”

Founded in 1987, Thornbury Electrics is one of the oldest electric service providers in Perth. They offer a pretty extensive list of services that include electrical installations, maintenance, and data cabling. Interestingly, they can even repair electric cooking appliances!

I’m also glad that these services are covered by a 12-month warranty on labour.

However, the one thing I really love about Thornbury Electrics is their free in-home safety inspection service. 

Launched after a devastating electrical fire burned a house down in East Victoria Park, this service will check your home’s switchboard, power points, smoke alarms, and lighting to see whether they pass electrical safety standards.

Overall, I have nothing but respect for these guys. I just wish that they extended their operating hours and increased their service coverage, as I find those to be their main weaknesses.
