Pros
- Multiple branches in Perth
- Friendly and attentive staff
- PWD-friendly establishment
- Many activities available
Cons
- Confusing prices and payment systems
- Amenities needs more improvement
Strike Bowling is one of Perth’s most well-known chains of bowling alleys. Their branch in Forrest Chase is dear to most customers thanks to its efficient and friendly staff.
As one of the biggest chains of bowling alleys in the city, Strike Bowling has lots of fun activities available. They’ve got bowling, karaoke, arcade machines, escape rooms, and more.
Strike Bowling also has its own diners and bars included in each location. Their bowling alleys are a great choice if you want to spend an entire afternoon with your friends and family.
Another thing we love about them is their commitment to being PWD-friendly. They offer generous discounts for PWD people and their caregivers. The staff is also willing to make their lights and music calmer for those who have sensory issues.
Their friendly staff is also one of their biggest strengths. Customers we’ve talked to have nothing but praise for the staff, who are known for their professional attitude.
Many customers felt that their experience at Strike Bowling was made much better by the staff.
However, customers of the Forrest Chase location think that their branch needs a bit more improvement. Some told us that the tables and chairs are sorely lacking compared to the number of bowling lanes.
They also think that the scoring TV sets for the bowling lanes are too old, especially with the score animations.
Another downside of Strike Bowling is its confusing prices and payment system. One customer shared that the price given to them initially was significantly different from the price charged after they played.

Pros
- Cosy atmosphere with a vintage aesthetic
- Competitive prices
- Great food quality
Cons
- Issues with customer service
- Confusing business hours
Rosemount Bowl is a great place to try if you’re looking for a nostalgic good time. Their prices are also great if you intend to enjoy the whole day bowling with your friends.
Their bowling alley, located on Fitzgerald Street, is known for its unique vintage aesthetic. The cool lights and smooth music give off a cosy vibe, which is perfect for those who dislike the loud ambience of other bowling alleys.
Staying for longer hours in Rosemount Bowl won’t be an issue. They’ve got their own diner and bar, which can serve full meals and fun alcoholic drinks. They also have a cafe menu if you’re looking for a light meal.
Many customers told us that the food at Rosemount Bowl is great. The food served is hot and freshly cooked.
Their bar also serves many beer and wine brands. With good food and drinks, we believe that Rosemount Bowl is also great for events and parties.
Another thing customers love about them is their competitive prices. Each adult only needs to pay AUD 31 to enjoy three games. Students and pensioners can enjoy discounts except on Sundays.
However, a downside of Rosemount Bowl is its confusing business hours. Some customers reserved a slot during the late-night hours only to find out that they could no longer play, as the bowling alley was already closing.
Some customers also have issues with their customer service. One customer shared their awkward experience where the manager berated an employee right in front of the guests.

Pros
- Family-friendly atmosphere
- Many activities available
- Great food quality
Cons
- Bowling lanes not maintained regularly
- Above-average prices
Zone Bowling is a great bowling alley for both adults and kids. Their family-friendly atmosphere makes them a great hangout spot for the entire family.
Most of their bowling lanes are modified so that even kids can play them. Smaller and lighter bowling balls are available for use, which can be easily carried by a child or a young teenager.
Zone Bowling also has a wide list of activities for the family. Aside from bowling, they have laser tag and arcade machines, which can be enjoyed by both adults and children alike.
Even their menu caters to a younger crowd. It includes burgers, hotdogs, milkshakes, and more.
We’re delighted to share that customers love the food they serve. Many customers we’ve talked to, even those who have some criticisms of Zone Bowling, find their food tasty and delicious.
As expected, their establishment is available for birthday party reservations. Their bowling alley can also be reserved for office and school events.
However, a downside of Zone Bowling is its prices. Customers think that their prices are higher compared to their competitors in Perth.
Some also think that their bowling lanes are in dire need of renovation. One customer told us that some of the bowling balls are chipped, and the rental bowling shoes are torn and old.

Pros
- PWD-friendly bowling alley
- Staff willing to train newcomers
- Hosts its own bowling tournaments
Cons
- Faulty bowling lanes
- Below-average food quality
Super Bowl is one of Perth’s oldest bowling alleys, with an experienced staff ready to assist both beginners and professionals in bowling.
The age of their establishment is noticeable due to the retro feel their amenities and bowling lanes give off. Most of their lighting and sounds harken back to the old days when bowling alleys were the number one hangout spot for most people.
They also have a large number of pool tables for those who want to play pool.
A major advantage Super Bowl has as an older bowling alley is its highly knowledgeable and experienced staff.
Newcomers can seek assistance from their staff. Many customers told us that their staff is willing to help and teach some tips on how to become a better bowler.
Another thing we’d like to point out is that the Super Bowl is fully accessible to PWDs.
All of their lanes are wheelchair-friendly, with special bowling ramps to assist PWDs. They also have lightweight bowling balls, which require less exertion to throw.
The staff is also ready to assist PWDs in moving around the bowling alley and keeping track of their scores.
Aside from fun activities, the Super Bowl also hosts its own bowling tournaments. These tournaments have separate leagues so that pro and amateur bowlers each have their chance to showcase what they’ve got.
However, a downside to Super Bowl’s old age is the deteriorating quality of their bowling lanes. Some customers have experienced faulty bowling lanes where their scores aren’t tallied and the bowling balls can’t roll smoothly.
There are also some customers who don’t like the food served at the Super Bowl. Some told us that the food tasted bland and was clearly frozen food reheated to be served.

Pros
- Near the beach with a good view of the sea
- New and modern bowling lanes
- Hosts daily live music
Cons
- Rude security staff
- Issues with customer service
The Lookout is a nightclub that has recently added its own bowling alley. Their seaside location makes them one of the more aesthetically pleasing bowling spots in Perth.
Their active nightlife makes them highly popular with the younger crowd and active partygoers. Because they are a nightclub, it automatically means that you must be of legal age to enter their establishment.
Despite being added only recently, their bowling alley is popular among their customers. Because it’s new, it’s one of the most modern bowling alleys in Perth.
They also have pool tables available if you’re looking for other activities to do aside from clubbing and bowling.
The Lookout’s biggest strength is its impressive seaside view. Located on Scarborough Beach, their spot gives you a good view of the Indian Ocean.
Their seaside view is beautiful, especially at dusk.
Because they are a bar first and foremost, The Lookout also hosts multiple live shows every day.
You can listen to live band music while you and your friends try to see who’s the better bowler.
The Lookout’s lively and exciting atmosphere is a sure hit with the younger crowds of Perth.
However, a downside of The Lookout is its customer service. Some customers were disappointed that their staff tends to mix up orders and serve them late.
Another thing customers dislike about them is their rude security staff. There are many stories shared with us about how strict the security tends to be and their aggression, even towards minor offences.
