Gage Roads has been brewing beers for over 15 years, still aiming to serve its customers the best beers it can brew. On top of their beers, they have a menu that has a huge selection of seafood.

With a massive indoor and outdoor dining area, they can accommodate customers even without prior booking. There’s also plenty of space for kids to run, play, and interact with each other.

Gage Roads has a huge play area for kids on the left side of the building that features an old ’60s Land Cruiser, sand pit, and cray boat. The area is fenced up, and there are seats near the playground, so parents can watch over the kids while enjoying their meals.

They also have kid-friendly meals and drinks. Their kid’s fish and chips and kid’s pizza are among the favourites of the little ones.

“This has to be one of the best places in Freo, if not Perth. A great big beautiful space perfect for winding down, having a few drinks and amazing food. Clancy’s Fish Pub in Fremantle has been serving families in Perth for the past 30 years. It offers an extensive menu that also has a separate section for kid-friendly meals.

Each kiddie meal comes with a free juice. They also offer different desserts, like mango sago pudding and kid’s sundae.

Furthermore, Clancy’s has a huge lawn area and sandpit playground where kids can run around and play. It’s also near Princess May Park, which provides the kids with a bigger area to run and play tag.

As for parents, Clancy’s offers a wide range of meat and seafood dishes, including SA Kinkawooka chilli mussels, beer battered snapper fish and chips, and Dardanup rump steak sandwich.

The Victoria Park Hotel on Albany Highway has been standing proudly since 1927 and was recently renovated to accommodate a larger number of customers. Along with the pub’s $2.3 million revamp is a revamped food and drinks menu.

It now has a large beer garden that can house several guests. There’s also a new playground for kids, which the pub deemed necessary to achieve its mission of accommodating the growing number of families in Victoria Park.

Chef Andre Nunes, Victoria Park Hotel’s new head chef, brought a new menu that includes pub classics with a twist, like the prawn and lobster roll and tiger prawns with chimichurri.

Victoria Park Hotel also offers food made to accommodate the palate of young kids, like cheeseburgers, linguini pasta, and fried chicken. If your kid has allergies, let them know so the chef can arrange food for them.

Bailey Brewing Co’s current location used to be home to beekeeper Toppy Geer and his wife. They used to sell honey in the area, so it was filled with beekeeping tools when the Baileys found it.

The former honey store is now stacked with grass in the backyard, giving kids a place to run. There’s also a wooden playground for the to play at. The remaining beekeeping equipment inside the brewery also serves as entertainment to the kids and a shout out to the family that used to stay there.

As it’s a family busines, the Baileys are dedicated to making it as family-friendly as possible. Hence, they tried to make both the venue and menu enjoyable for any family.

The kids’ menu has burgers, pasta, chips, and pizzas, all ranging from $12.5 to $15. The parents have a wider menu that includes salads, grilled meals, pastas, and more.

Located in Duncraig, The Carine Glades Tavern is a bistro that aims to provide a place where parents can share a meal and relax with their kids. 

They offer kiddie meals, like fish n chips, nuggets, and pasta, on top of their wide range of char-grilled steaks and regular pub classics for the parents. If you happen to drop by on a Tuesday, the kids’ meal will be served for free.

The bistro has an outdoor playground right by the alfresco tables, allowing parents to watch over their kids while they eat and drink. There’s also a mini golf near the playground that kids can enjoy.

The Carine also holds events for kids. One of the most common is face painting, which helps keep the kids entertained.
