How We Picked the Best Coworking Spaces in Perth

Aside from affordability, the value of the services must be worth their price. The costs were also compared with other coworking spaces in Perth.

We looked at the offices, furnishings, and complimentary offers for the comfort and safety of clients.

Service

The services were reviewed based on their variety and level of maintenance.

Communication

Their staff should be available in case of questions or clarifications. They should also be helpful throughout the service.

Leeder House & Co. is one of our top coworking spaces in Perth – they’ve already dealt with a good range of businesses, independent traders, and coworkers.

Situated just 10 minutes from the Perth CBD, we like that they’re conveniently located in Leederville’s prime business and entertainment precinct. This can provide clients access to shops, cafes, and other commercial services.

Many clients we talked to commend their stylish private offices, coworking desks, and a meeting room.

It’s also valuable that they can provide virtual office and virtual personal assistant services. This would cover the increasing need for work-from-home setups.

However, their space requires booking in advance. In addition, prospects would have to join the waitlist due to the large volume of bookings they receive.

Conveniently, their six private offices are furnished and ready for clients who want to move in. But if you want to book per day, they also have coworking spaces and meeting room hires.

If you plan to use their services for a long time, we suggest acquiring a membership to get up to 20% off their services and bookings.

Leeder House & Co. is open Mondays to Fridays during regular work hours. It’s helpful that they can accommodate after-hours and weekend bookings by special request too.

But, their location provides a small parking space, which may be only adequate during non-peak days or hours.

Pros

  • Located in a business and entertainment-centric area
  • Stylish private offices, coworking desks, and meeting room
  • Offers virtual office and virtual personal assistant services
  • Membership allows clients to get up to 20% off

Cons

  • Advanced booking is required
  • Small parking space

If you’re a small business, Flow Space is one of the best options for coworking space in Perth’s northern suburbs.

We appreciate that their location was purposely set up in North Beach. This is strategic, so business owners won’t have to commute to the Central Business District in traffic for a quality workspace.

This means there would be fewer distractions for productive work and meetings. They’re also across the famous Flora Terrace Cafe Strip where employees may enjoy several cafes, bars, and restaurants here.

Now, while this company may not provide plastic chairs or bean bags, we think their chairs are better. Theirs are fully ergonomic and there’s even a standing desk space.

It’s easy to see that they cater for adults working to maximise productivity all day.

In addition, we like that they provide fast Wi-Fi – theirs is clocked at 46.77 mb/s on SpeedTest. This is 6.5 times faster than Perth’s average of 7.1 mb/s!

Indeed, it’s also much appreciated that Flow Space is near the beach. If there’s enough time on your break, you may even go for a swim to take out your stress.

However, note that some of their membership rates (resident and full-time) are more expensive than the average in Perth.

Pros

  • Strategic office location at the North Beach
  • Food establishments across the road
  • Has quality office chairs and desks
  • Provides fast internet services

Cons

  • Membership rates could be pricey
  • Cannot be reached on the weekends

The Park Business Centre has one of the best coworking spaces in Perth, with isolated office packages catering to every budget.

It’s convenient that they offer flexible offices to suit everyone’s needs. This could be per hour, day, week, or year.

Because of their no minimum fixed lease terms, we like that clients can only book when needed.

Each office suite is also fully furnished with contemporary executive office furniture. A few clients note that this can save business owners around $1,000 on capital expenditure.

They’re also located in the outer city, away from the hustle and bustle. We believe this supports a productive space fit for employees.

Their space is also easily accessible so that you can give public transport a miss.

We also appreciate their in-house management. This means there’s always someone on-site to ensure things run smoothly.

They seem to be constantly evolving to adapt to the changing times too. They can provide complimentary sanitising stations, meeting rooms with high-speed connectivity, personalised telephone answering, and more.

However, one client shared that getting into his office was challenging because no lift or elevator was available.

On the plus side, if you experience a problem with air conditioning or locking your keys in the office, we’re glad The Park Business Centre’s 24/7 on-call maintenance would be there to save the day.

Pros

  • Fully furnished office with modern furniture
  • Has in-house management
  • Provides complimentary sanitising stations
  • 24/7 on-call maintenance

Cons

  • No lift available
  • Unavailable on the weekends

Located on the top floor of the heritage Princess Chambers building, we like that fSpace’s coworking space in Perth builds on the energy of Fremantle’s port city.

Their team told us that the vibes they’re going for are entrepreneurial, international, inspirational, and down-to-earth. We saw how this is presented through their vibrant yet cosy decorations.

Several clients we spoke to also appreciated their space with natural light, fresh sea breeze, fibre optic Wi-Fi, and soft music beats in the background.

Another crowd-favourite is their chill-out area to host guests or collaborate with colleagues. This was made better with their complimentary tea, coffee, and filtered water.

They seem to cover almost every office essential, which helps lessen the chances of the employees going out and helps them get some work done.

We also appreciate that when there are pitches or presentations, they can offer a professional space. However, this single area is a bit small and can only fit 6 people.

With no long-term contracts, we feel clients won’t have to stress about getting locked into options that won’t suit them later.

fSpace offers a covered car park nearby too. However, this isn’t free, and clients would have to pay $9 per day.

Pros

  • Vibrant yet cosy decorations
  • Covers almost every office essential
  • No long-term contracts
  • Complimentary tea, coffee, and filtered water

Cons

  • Paid everyday parking
  • Small space for presentations

Spacecubed has some of the best coworking spaces in Perth worth considering. In fact, it’s incredible that they have 7 office locations across the city.

Clients can use their services on Yanchep Beach Road, Mandurah Terrace, and St. Georges Terrace, which has five offices. Each has a different name.

For example, we believe that Riff is good for collaborations, FLUX caters for work focus, CORE Innovation Hub is perfect for the energy sector, Fern exudes vibrance, and Western Sydney Startup Hub is ideal for growing businesses.

While all their locations aim to provide a quality space, we like that each offers something unique and valuable for different work environments.

Their amenities are superb as well. They have extensive amenities like free Wi-Fi, free printing, a community kitchen, showers, locker storage, and the like.

Previous clients shared that there are also some benefits to having a membership. They could get a wide range of benefits involving Stripe payments, Amazon, HubSpot, Google Cloud, and many more.

Members can access big discounts on events held in their space as well. We find this a great opportunity to upskill yourself and your business.

Nevertheless, several told us that the pricing might be a bit expensive. Spacecubed could also do more to improve the privacy of some areas.

Lastly, we noticed that their work hours seem slightly shorter than other coworking space companies in Perth.

Pros

  • Has 7 locations across Perth
  • Each office space offers something valuable
  • Extensive list of amenities
  • Membership has some decent perks

Cons

  • Their prices could be a bit costly
  • May have shorter working hours than others
