An internationally trained cosmetic physician started Medaesthetics in 2009. Decades later, it remains a doctor-led clinic with registered nurses and dermal therapists as the backbone.

How they ran our consults told us a lot. Questions were addressed quickly, and details such as facial structure, goals, allergies, skin type, medications, and medical history weren’t overlooked.

Friendly (and honestly humorous) nurses like Elisabeth and Kipling also set a positive, relaxed tone. They even poured us cups of tea!

That carries out to the actual treatments. My workmates and interviewees who pushed through reported a bruise- and pain-free experience.

Communication, however, isn’t consistent. We bumped into past clients who moaned about late replies, some not hearing back at all.

Initial consults aren’t free either. Fees hover between $50 and $250, and that’s just for 15–30 minutes.

The good news is that discounted packages can be arranged.

Aesthetic Style doesn’t go for dramatic changes that end with “fake-looking faces.” My Botox results, for instance, looked subtle and non-puffy.

Most of the credit goes to Julie, the clinic’s bubbly nurse-owner. She has a sharp eye for what works best on your face, and her free consults are realistic, often distinguishing between wants and needs.

What’s more, only brands and ingredients approved by TGA (Therapeutic Goods Australia) enter her shelves.

The clinic isn’t Perth’s longest-running, though. It’s almost 5 years old, true, but some entrants have been around longer.

Options are limited when it comes to injectors as well. Julie handles most of it herself.

But hey, there’s hardly any waiting. I’m not alone in saying that appointments tend to start on time here.

And they have repeat clients. Many have stayed with Aesthetic Style since it opened in 2022.

Named by LUXLife as Perth’s Best Medical Spa in 2022, having your Botox done at Blanc Skin isn’t a dodgy idea.

I mean, their staff are remarkable! Owner Clara Hurst is a doctor with over 18 years in the age management game, and her injectors are registered medical professionals generally praised for consistently achieving subtle results.

The space deserves props too, given it’s among the city’s most luxurious-looking and relaxing.

But do keep in mind that it sees plenty of clients. Blanc Skin’s team is pretty large, but they’re widely sought after.

Booking ahead doesn’t guarantee a slot either. In fact, gripes about sluggish email replies and getting placed on hold have been raised.

That aside, their customer service is solid. Questions are addressed in detail, nurses like Meg give advice and recos post-treatment, and you can earn credits through the rewards and referral program.

Absolute Cosmetic is absolutely seasoned. For one, it’s under Dr Glen Murray, who has 25-plus years of experience and notable feats such as teaching injectors globally.

Selections go through his supervision, which is why only registered nurses specially trained in areas like injectables make their team.

The outcomes say it all, really. Lots of clients saw natural-looking results four months after their Botox treatment.

Many also claim the procedure is nearly painless, with minimal bruising and swelling to boot. Those who typically point it out have booked nurses such as Sasha, Brooke, Vika, and Leah.

The best part? Prices stay competitive, and discounts are thrown in occasionally.

A hiccup to note is the absence of Saturday operations, something the other clinics here offer.

We also heard a few complaints about upselling. One client, for example, wasn’t too happy about being advised to undergo extra procedures.

We found The Lime Tree Clinic quite pleasant. The space is virtually spot-free and well-organised, complemented by a lovely, reassuring staff.

That extends to their nurse injectors, namely Yas and Jess. Both are said to produce quality results while keeping procedures gentle.

Plans, including pre- and post-treatment care, are personalised too! You don’t even have to pay to secure one, thanks to consults being free.

We suggest pondering the cost, though. Lime Tree Clinic charges per area instead of per unit, but their standard rates can still hurt.

They do have a history of last-minute cancellations as well, which is far from ideal after paying a premium.

Fortunately, there’s one workaround, and that’s opting for packaged deals. Choosing a bundle here is cheaper than paying for treatments individually.

Today was my first time at The Lime Tree Clinic. I just had some injections done with Hazel who was very kind and thoughtful, she is very confident too, making me feel comfortable for having her looking after me. The girls at the reception were very nice and gentle. All together, made me feel good so I am going back for another treatment with them.

The clinic is very clean

I initially chose The Lime Tree Clinic because of how professional their website and social media pages look. Also so many positive reviews! I’m so glad I did, it was well worth the travel for me when there are a multitude of other injectable clinics close to where I live. The clinic is very clean and beautifully appointed. Parking was super easy. The lady greeting me (Rachel) was so lovely and friendly, she really made me feel at ease. Hazel was my nurse and she talked me through everything as it was my first time. She is clearly very experienced and good at what she does. I barely felt the injections! I was so surprised at how pain free it was.
