One of the first companies we’ve checked out is Caterlink Commercial Kitchens & Bars, located in Osborne Park. They have over 40 years of presence in the industry and have been involved with many high-profile clients in the city, including the world-famous Optus Stadium.
What stands out to me is that they’re one of Australia’s first carbon-neutral accredited commercial kitchen suppliers. Under their Greener Kitchens program, they only sell energy-efficient equipment made by reputable companies like Giorik and Skope.
I also appreciate that they offer financing and renting options to make their products more accessible to new restaurant owners. They even offer free on-site consultations to assist clients in picking the best equipment for their restaurants!
Sadly, not everything is going well for them, as some former clients told me that Caterlink mixed up their orders.

Another place my sister and I visited in Osborne Park is Cater Central Hospitality Equipment. During our visit, we were amazed by the various products they offer, like ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators.
We were even more impressed when we realised that the number of suppliers they work with is huge. Some notable brands we saw here are Roband, Atosa, and Zanussi.
Beyond the products they offer, I also appreciate the special offers and programs they’ve introduced to make them an affordable option. Most notable is their price-match guarantee.
They also offer interest-free financing courtesy of Zip and SilverChef. For those who are on an extremely limited budget, they have second-hand equipment too.
However, it should be noted that they don’t offer refunds for item returns. They also don’t do cash-on-delivery, so make sure you have a credit or debit card ready.

For me, they’ve got a lot of things going right for them that make them a great option. One of those is their generous warranty policy, which grants you an additional 2-year parts warranty by simply registering your product on their website.
I also love that they regularly offer special discounts and deals on their website, letting you enjoy up to 40% off on their products. Also, they offer rental equipment and financing plans, which is good for those on tight budgets.
Sadly, some former clients critiqued this company for selling them defective equipment. One client told me their freezer stopped working after just weeks of use.

One of the best things that comes with being one of Perth’s oldest suppliers is that they’ve got a solid relationship with a diverse range of suppliers. In fact, they can provide equipment made by famous manufacturers like Skope and Westinghouse.
It’s also nice that they’ve taken great strides to improve their customer support, as they can guarantee 1-hour responses and next-day deliveries. They even have a dedicated design team that can help you create an optimal kitchen for your restaurant.
If there’s one thing I dislike about them, it’s their rude staff. We were a bit annoyed when they gave us short yet unhelpful responses to our sincere questions during our visit.

I’m a bit relieved that I didn’t pass up on the opportunity to visit these guys since they’ve got a lot of amazing things to offer.
First, they have an affiliate program that allows clients to earn revenue by promoting their products. Membership is free, and all you have to do is promote them on your restaurant’s website.
Another thing that piqued my interest was their generous deals and discounts. They also offer free deliveries for orders that cost more than $100.
Overall, they’re a solid pick. I just wish that they worked with more brands, though, since a lot of the equipment they sell comes from only one to two brands.
