Our Expert Reviews of the Best Prenatal Massage Clinics in Perth

Specialised Training: We prioritised local clinics where the practitioners hold specific postgraduate certifications in pregnancy and postnatal bodywork.

This ensures they thoroughly understand the anatomical adjustments and physiological contraindications required during each trimester.

Safety Protocols: Preference was given to venues that strictly adhere to side-lying standards or use approved belly pillows to protect uterine ligaments.

These setups prevent unnecessary physical strain and guarantee a completely secure environment for both mum and baby.

Clinical Efficacy: Every selected venue was evaluated on its capability to alleviate specific pregnancy-related issues like sciatica and gestational oedema.

We focused on finding targeted remedial techniques rather than just basic, superficial relaxation rubs.

Maternal Comfort: We carefully analysed feedback regarding the tranquillity factor, including room temperature, table setup, and the use of safe organic oils.

A quiet, soothing environment is absolutely essential for lowering high cortisol levels and promoting deep rest.

Pregnancy is an amazing journey, but carrying a growing baby leaves your body feeling completely wiped out.

Between the stubborn lower back aches, pelvic pressure, and swollen ankles, finding real physical relief becomes a top priority as you head into the second and third trimesters.

If you’re ready to swap that constant discomfort for pure relaxation, booking the best prenatal massage Perth has to offer can make a world of difference.

You deserve a supportive, tranquil space where certified hands use pregnancy-safe techniques like side-lying positions to ease your tension.

Let’s take a look at the absolute finest spots across the metropolitan area to help you unwind and finally get some restful sleep.

Address: 392 Fitzgerald Street

Contact: 6162 9492

Hours: Sunday to Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thursday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

The search for an extended escape from the physical exhaustion of the third trimester led a friend of mine straight to The Little Gem Spa Massage.

They offer a dedicated 90-minute therapeutic pregnancy massage within a tranquil environment designed as a true haven for relaxation and physical recovery.

Before the bodywork even begins, the experienced therapists conduct a detailed initial consultation to fully understand your current health condition. They tailor the therapeutic program using premium oils to soothe your tight muscles.

They’re a fantastic alternative to typical wellness spots if you want a deeply calming and sensory experience.

Just keep in mind that the location on Fitzgerald Street in North Perth means dealing with busy road traffic and very limited street parking during peak commute hours.

Pros

  • Dedicated therapeutic pregnancy treatments
  • Initial consultation before sessions
  • Premium H2O and coconut oils
  • Tranquil and sensory day spa atmosphere

Cons

  • Busy main road location

Most relaxing pregnancy massage

Had the most relaxing pregnancy massage followed by a facial. Yu was my therapist and she was amazing. She asked me what I would like focused on the most and she made a point of really working on the area. Highly Recommended!

Extremely happy

Our experience at The Little Gem Spa was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Kim gave me my pregnancy massage and I was so happy with her techniques, kindness and appreciated the  giggles when I didn’t listen to instructions! Zangmo massaged my partner and he is now wanting little gem to be our regular massage spot. Both extremely happy! Thank you so much ladies xx

Website: https://www.taramassage.com.au/

Address: Unit 5 177 Stirling St

Contact: 9328 9652

Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM to 6.30 PM, Sunday: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Dealing with constant muscle aches requires a highly personalised touch, which is exactly what makes Tara Massage Therapy Perth stand out.

They offer customised pregnancy treatments where well-qualified therapists conduct a detailed pre-treatment consultation to discuss your muscle issues and individual preferences.

When my colleague went here during her second trimester, she raved about how intuitively the practitioner adapted the gentle session to her changing bodily needs.

I love the clean, comfortable, and tranquil atmosphere, which features a lovely, welcoming tea section to help you unwind before or after your dedicated hour-long session.

This clinic feels much more focused on maternal wellness than standard commercial massage spas

However, being situated in a multi-unit complex on Stirling Street within the city centre means navigating inner-city traffic. Searching for parking can also be frustrating.

Pros

  • Comprehensive first visit consultations
  • Well-qualified maternal therapists
  • Extremely gentle hour-long sessions
  • Welcoming tea section for relaxation

Cons

  • Inner city traffic congestion
  • Difficult parking

3. Sage Massage & Movement

Website: https://www.sagemassageandmovement.com.au/

Address: 5 Scarborough Beach Road

Contact: 9242 4435

Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5.30 PM

Targeting the uncomfortable, heavy swelling that pools in your lower limbs can instantly restore your daily energy levels.

Sage Massage & Movement delivers tailored prenatal treatments aimed specifically at alleviating common symptoms of pregnancy discomfort, ensuring expectant mothers feel completely reassured and relaxed.

The technicians’ specialised strokes increase blood flow and circulation to reduce fatigue while moisturising the skin to improve elasticity. The therapy stimulates the natural release of endorphins to replace body aches with a feeling of well-being.

It’s s a wonderful remedy for third-trimester exhaustion. But you do need to be mindful of their incredibly strict booking policies.

They enforce a 50% cancellation fee for late notices and charge the full session cost for no-shows, which is quite unforgiving for unpredictable pregnancy symptoms.

Pros

  • Boosts blood flow and circulation
  • Reduces swelling in feet and hands
  • Moisturises skin to aid elasticity
  • Stimulates natural endorphin release

Cons

  • Strict late cancellation fees

Good experience

I enjoyed the waiting room – particularly the refreshments and nibbles (fruit and nut bowl). The music during the massage was calming and the oil felt soothing on my sensitive skin. My massage therapist’s pressure was slightly too firm at times, but she adapted when I asked her to be more gentle. The staff were friendly and easygoing. My sister had a prenatal massage and she adored her therapist too.

Thank you for the lovely experience 🙂

10/10

I was kindly gifted a pregnancy massage for my birthday at Sage and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

My massage was 10/10 and the foot spa to start the treatment off was such a nice touch.

I will definitely be rebooking and recommending Sage to all of my friends.

Website: https://www.prana.com.au/beauty/ayurvedic-massage/pregnancy/

Address: 22 Moreau Mews, Applecross

Contact: 9316 1553

Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

If you’re looking for a deeply restorative, holistic approach to maternal wellness, Prana Ayurvedic Spa is an exceptional choice.

They offer a unique Ayurvedic prenatal massage that supports the lymphatic and endocrine systems using traditional, herb-infused oils tailored to balance your energy patterns.

The focused movements are designed to relieve painful muscle cramps and spasms in targeted areas like your lower back, neck, and hips.

The treatment also minimises the stress placed on weight-bearing joints while preparing your body for delivery by easing labour pain.

They even offer complementary, bump-friendly options like pregnancy waxing in a comfortable, inclined position.

On the downside, the spa is situated south of the river in Applecross, presenting a longer and potentially traffic-heavy commute if you live in northern Perth suburbs.

Pros

  • Restorative Ayurvedic lymphatic system support
  • Relieves painful lower back cramps
  • Minimises stress on weight-bearing joints
  • Offers inclined bump-friendly waxing

Cons

  • Traffic-heavy suburb travel

The pregnancy massage was Amazing

Cannot recommend the services at Prana highly enough. I have been going to see Agnelo and Saroj during both of my two pregnancies and they are so incredibly welcoming. The pregnancy massage was Amazing!! Every need absolutely accounted for to the highest standard. Thankyou once again.

Tranquil and relaxing

Such a beautiful environment, tranquil and relaxing. Saroj and her team were very professional, friendly and full of knowledge. Felt like I had been a lifelong customer and only met for the first time today as recovering and holidaying in the area. Thank you again, until next time xx

5. Perth City Massage

perth-city-massage-logo

Website: https://perthcitymassage.com.au/

Address: Suite 2, 12/378 Wellington St

Contact: 6262 3756

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Resting comfortably on your front becomes a distant memory during later trimesters, but Perth City Massage completely changes the game.

They use a belly pillow so expectant mothers can safely lie face-down while therapists target postural imbalances and hip pain. I visited this studio with my sister last week and can confirm her relief of finally lying flat was absolutely incredible.

The focused work decreases deep pelvic pain caused by natural tilting while promoting deep relaxation for an easier labour. Going here is a fantastic alternative to a standard Thai massage when you need clinical precision.

However, being located on the upper level of the Perth Train Station, below a public car park, means you have to navigate a busy transit hub.

Pros

  • Custom belly pillow for face-down resting
  • Corrects pregnancy-related postural imbalances
  • Eases severe pelvic and hip pain
  • Promotes deep relaxation for labour

Cons

  • Requires walking through transit hubs
