Get peak performance and customisation options through the best motorcycle parts shops in Perth

  • Product range - We chose shops that sell a wide range of motorcycle parts, like handlebars, chains, spark plugs, and batteries.
  • Product quality - We prefer shops that offer high-quality parts that are sourced from either OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or reputable aftermarket brands like X-Tech and MCS.
  • Accessibility - We looked at whether these stores are near major roads and public transit stations. We also considered whether they’re open on most days of the week.
  • Customer service - We assessed whether their staff always treat their customers fairly and respectfully. We also considered whether they quickly answer calls and emails.
  • Price fairness - We also considered whether their prices are fair based on the quality of their products, the uniqueness of their parts, and the warranties they provide.

My motorcycle is one of my prized possessions, and I spend a lot of time tinkering and customising it. Whether it be installing a new leather seat or a new exhaust pipe, I’m always looking for new ways to transform my bike into the best it can ever be.

Curious as to how I do it? Well, the answer is pretty simple: motorcycle parts shops. These shops offer almost every kind of authentic and aftermarket parts you can imagine without having to wait weeks or months for overseas shipping.

Here are some of the best motorcycle parts shops in Perth you should consider!

Let’s start with the shop I frequently visit, Two Wheel Wreckers. As their name suggests, they primarily provide wrecking services for discarded motorcycles, with whatever parts are still in good condition being sold at cheap prices.

As someone who loves to save whenever he can, their prices obviously hooked me in. Even better, they’ve been doing this since 1980 and have built a solid inventory of spare parts for modern and classic motorcycles.

Currently, most of their inventory consists of parts suitable for Japanese-made motorcycles, like Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha.

If you’re still an amateur at replacing motorcycle parts, they offer maintenance services as well.

The only thing I dislike about them is their inability to reply consistently to my messages. I sometimes have to send a follow-up email before I can get a response.

Pros

  • Spare parts for Japanese motorcycle brands
  • Sells cheap, second-hand parts
  • Has parts for older motorcycle models
  • Offers maintenance services

Cons

  • Sometimes forgets to respond to enquiries
  • Inconsistent operating hours

Another long-time provider of high-quality motorcycle parts in Perth is Cully’s Yamaha, founded in 1976. While they primarily sell OEM parts for Yamaha motorcycles, they also have aftermarket parts that are suitable for most motorcycle brands.

Here, you can buy an extensive range of parts, like oil filters, gaskets, and exhaust pipes. They also offer some cool rider tech, like Alpinestars Tech-Air Systems, which are basically airbag systems for bikers, and Monimoto 9 GPS trackers.

All of these amazing products can be easily bought through financing plans offered via Afterpay. They also provide motorcycle servicing if you’re unable to install the parts yourself.

Sadly, they still need to improve on their customer service, as some staff were dismissive of a few clients.

    Pros

    • Sells Yamaha OEM parts and rider tech products
    • Offers financing options
    • Offers maintenance services

    Cons

    • Some dismissive staff
    • Above-average prices

If you’re a proud owner of a BMW motorcycle, your best option for spare parts is Munich Motorcycles. Located in Myaree, they offer a mix of genuine BMW parts and high-quality aftermarket options.

That includes almost every part you can think of, including engine components, frame pieces, electrical parts, and suspension systems. And since they’re an authorised importer of these parts, their prices do tend to be more affordable.

Another thing I love about this shop is their online parts lookup tool that makes finding the right parts for your BMW motorcycle a breeze. If you have your bike’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), this tool will list every part your bike uses!

Unfortunately, they don’t regularly restock every part they sell. If the part you ordered isn’t readily available, you’ll need to wait at least two weeks before you can pick it up.

      Pros

      • Sells BMW OEM parts
      • Competitive prices
      • Has an online parts lookup tool

      Cons

      • Some products aren’t restocked regularly
      • May take 14 days to deliver items

Munich Motorcycle in Myaree is an excellent spare parts supplier!

“Munich Motorcycle in Myaree is an excellent spare parts supplier! The team is knowledgeable and always helpful, especially when it comes to BMW spares. Their service is fast, reliable, and the pricing is very competitive. Highly recommend for anyone in need of quality motorcycle parts.”

        Exceptional service in every aspect

“Exceptional Service in every aspect. If you own an old BMW and are having issues finding parts, go no further. Give the guys a ring, they will help you find the exact parts. Shoot them an email with the list, and it will be on your doorstep the next day.

I’ve ordered half a bike from these guys, and never had an issue even when shipping across the country. Highly recommended.”

Motorcycle Studio is a great choice for those who love riding Enduro (off-road) bikes. They’re a prominent dealer for Beta, Sherco, and TM Racing motorcycles in Western Australia, which means they have some exclusive models and parts that are hard to find elsewhere.

Some noteworthy parts you’ll find here are brake pads, air filters, and steering dampers. If you’re unsure which parts to get, their staff is ready to provide assistance and guidance.

Their staff can even go the extra mile and help you build your own custom dirt bike! This service can be very helpful for those who are looking to take their off-road motorcycling to the next level.

Sadly, this store won’t be of much help if you’re only looking for standard motorcycle parts. Their location is also a bit hard to reach for most of Perth’s southern residents.

        Pros

        • Sells Enduro motorcycle parts
        • Helpful staff
        • Competitive prices
        • Can help in building custom bikes

        Cons

        • Location a bit far from Perth’s southern suburbs
        • Limited mostly to selling Enduro parts

Small shop with everything you need at good prices

“Such a great shop with a legend for an owner. Small shop with everything you need at good prices. Had a warranty issue with a bike and couldn’t have been easier or better to deal with. Very professional yet personal service. Great support and very knowledgeable.

          Would highly recommend.”

Another shop I tend to visit is JCS Motorcycles, located in Burswood. They’re best known for selling a diverse range of OEM and aftermarket parts for Triumph and Royal Enfield motorcycles, like drive belts, brake pedals, and air filters.

Personally, what I like about this store, aside from its wide range of parts, is the impressive variety of clothing and collectables sold here. They sell boots, rainwear, and bags that are produced by Triumph and other notable companies.

It’s also worth mentioning that they have a service centre where you can get your bike checked out and repaired. They can also assist in tuning and customising your ride so it can sport more performance parts.

Sadly, I’m also having some difficulties getting a timely response here whenever I send them an email asking them whether they have a specific part in stock.

          Pros

          • Sells Royal Enfield and Triumph OEM parts
          • Sells motorcycle clothing and collectables
          • Offers maintenance and customising services

          Cons

          • Sometimes forgets to respond to enquiries
          • Some rude staff

            Parts arrived quicker than expected

“Bought some parts online. Communication was great and parts arrived quicker than expected. Thanks JCS.”

            My go-to shop in Perth

“Excellent bike shop. Really well stocked, which is rare these days. I expected to have to order what I needed but they had everything in stock. That is rare these days! Great range of bikes too. My go-to shop in Perth.”
