1. Lava Laundry Lounge
Website:https://www.lava.com.au/
Address: Ground Floor, 181 Adelaide Terrace
Contact: 0483 900 980
Hours: Mon-Sun: 7:00 AM–11:00 PM
Lava Laundry Lounge delivers premium self-service washing with automatic detergent dosing and e-receipt functionality in East Perth. This modern facility suits apartment residents who want high-tech cleaning equipment without waiting on staff assistance.
When our team stopped by last Tuesday, we saw the industrial-grade chassis equipment spin clothes at high speeds to significantly cut drying time.
Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) monitoring and free wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) even keep the clean lounge safe and very comfortable while you wait out your wash cycle.
One minor drawback is that the washing machines are disabled promptly at 10 in the evening, cutting off late-night laundry runs for shift workers.

Best laundry mat I’ve ever used
Best laundry mat I’ve ever used super convenient simple to use no hassles with machines.
Can be busy if you rock up at the day wrong time and parking can be fun at time but over all highly recommend.

Very modern, clean and comfortable
Very modern, clean and comfortable. Extra amenities including phone charging and complimentary wifi are huge bonuses. 8, 14 and 18 kg washers available, with 15 and 21 kg dryers. Very pleasant. Tokens available via card (or coins or notes) make paying a breeze with no need to worry about having the right amount of change in the correct denominations.

2. Radiant Laundry Services
Website:https://www.radiantlaundryservices.com.au/
Address: Unit 1/129 Canning Highway
Contact: 0487 413 595
Hours: Customer Service: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM; Self-Service: 7:00 AM–10:30 PM
Radiant Laundry Services combines self-service laundromat use with same-day wash, dry, fold, ironing, and commercial laundry support from one South Perth location.
You can easily drop off bulky garments or have pets’ bedding washed in their dedicated pet machines without mixing fur with family clothes.
The helpful staff also manages commercial accounts for local clinics and gyms with great professional care.
A clear downside is that self-service options close at half past ten at night, limiting late access for night owls.
Still, this busy location works wonderfully for households needing flexible personal and commercial care options, despite lacking residential specialisation.

I love doing my laundry here!
I love doing my laundry here! It’s always very clean and well-lit and I love having the option of paying by card. Pets washing machine and dryer are included, and you can buy small packets of detergent and softener in the spot as well. They also have some selection of books and magazines to read while you wait for your laundry to finish.

Will come back for the next load for sure
Clean, nice and quiet book-lover-approved spot in Perth. Will come back for the next load for sure. If there is any feedback I could think of, I think a coin change machine would be a fantastic addition to this place.

3. Soak Laundry Lounge
Website:https://soaklaundrylounge.com.au/
Address: Shop 3, 1297 Hay Street
Contact: [email protected]
Hours: Mon-Sun: 6:00 AM–9:00 PM
Soak Laundry Lounge offers both self-service laundry and wash-dry-fold service in a lounge-style West Perth setting with online pickup booking support.
Bulky doonas and heavy winter bedsheets fit well in their oversized commercial drums, ensuring they can handle all sizes.
When we chatted with a regular customer here last month, they even praised the low-allergenic detergents and spacious folding benches available on-site.
One notable con is that the wash-and-fold service wraps up earlier than the general self-service hours. Machines also stop accepting new wash loads by half past eight in the evening, so you must plan your evening visits carefully.

4. The Royal Laundry Lounge
Website:https://www.theroyallaundrylounge.com/
Address: Shop 5, 88 Royal Street
Contact: [email protected]
Hours: Mon-Sun: 6:00 AM–10:00 PM
The Royal Laundry Lounge is a premium self-service laundromat in East Perth, offering a simple and convenient wash experience.
They use commercial IPSO machines with built-in soap dispensing and tap-and-go payment, so you can start your laundry with minimal hassle.
The machines also help speed up the drying process. High-speed extraction removes more moisture from clothes, which means shorter tumble-drying times.
Plus, the gas-heated dryers tumble clothes evenly with reversing drums and self-cleaning lint screens, making the drying process more efficient.
However, the final wash load needs to start by 9:30 p.m., which may be inconvenient for customers looking to do laundry late at night.
Additionally, the heavy-duty washers and dryers only come in two weight capacity options, so there’s less flexibility for very small loads.
5. Easy Spin Laundromat
Website:https://easyspinlaundromat.com.au/
Address: Shop 11/265 Walcott St
Contact: 0457 249 862
Hours: Available 24/7
Easy Spin Laundromat is a modern, fully self-service laundromat in the heart of North Perth, offering 24/7 access for night owls and early risers. You can drop in at any time and pay with coins, cards, mobile payment apps, or digital loyalty rewards.
The laundromat also uses energy-efficient front-load washers that can handle everything from everyday clothes to heavy bedding.
However, because they’re fully self-service, there’s no staff assistance, drop-off wash-dry-fold service, or professional ironing. This can be a drawback for customers who prefer a more hands-off laundry experience.
Another concern is the location. This North Perth branch may be too far for people living in southern Perth suburbs, making the trip less convenient for those customers.

Definitely my go-to laundromat in North Perth
Really impressed with Easy Spin Laundromat. The place is always clean, the machines are easy to use, and being open 24/7 makes it super convenient when you have a busy schedule. I washed my blankets and they came out great thanks to the large machines. I also liked that I could pay with my phone instead of carrying coins. The laundromat feels safe, has plenty of parking, and everything is well maintained. Definitely my go-to laundromat in North Perth. Highly recommend!
