Two factors put Accent Dental Care on our radar. One is the clinic’s 2-decade tenure, and the other is its Invisalign case history, with several patients noting “absolutely perfect” transformations.

Apart from having internationally trained orthodontists, the outcomes are shaped by precise analysis. Every treatment is mapped out using digital scans and X-rays, and you can preview the results through 3D imaging.

Getting here from Downtown Perth only takes around 5 minutes, too. The 3-hour free parking, lunch break-friendly scheduling, and virtual consultations only make things easier.

The estimates could be less shonky, though. We’ve heard accounts of costs coming in way higher than the quoted price.

It’s no secret that orthodontists do Invisalign treatments best, and Carousel Orthodontic Centre proves that. Nearly every patient describes the results as “life-changing.”

Things also move smoothly in this 20-year-old clinic. Treatments begin with clear explanations, appointments start on time, updates are regularly provided, and the staff manage patient anxiety with care.

Personally, I’m a fan of the written summaries; they function as proposals that break down a treatment’s every aspect in everyday language. That includes the pros, cons, costs, analysis, and payment plans.

What I’m not big on is the weekend closure. Most competitors run daily, or at a minimum, through Saturdays.

This place isn’t the cheapest either. Expenses can reach up to $9,000.

To be fair, Carousel is a Diamond-tier Invisalign provider, which means its specialists have completed at least 450 full treatments within 6 months. It’s worth the splurge.

The information provided goes above and beyond

I have seen Dr. Howard and the team at Carousel Orthodontic Centre for many years and I only have great things to say. From the front office staff to the specialists, treatment team and assistance. Being accessible 24/7 is Radiant Smiles Dental Care’s biggest edge, and that perk extends to Invisalign-related emergencies.

Now, you might be thinking, “Does Invisalign really need urgent care?” If so, the answer is yes. Clear aligners can get damaged or be misplaced, and in some cases, fitting issues may lead to extreme discomfort that must be addressed ASAP.

Visits aren’t limited to emergencies, mind you. Anyone can drop by for regular Invisalign services, which can be sorted through payment schemes like SuperCare and Fund My Dental.

Believe us, such plans come in handy. While Radiant’s initial consultation cost nada, the pricing of subsequent ones is steeper than what others charge.

The waiting period can be quite painful as well. Some patients had to wait for 1.5 hours before seeing a dentist.

Always takes the time to explain things

I’ve been seeing Dr Aston and Preetinder over the past year and have consistently received professional, friendly service along with helpful recommendations. More importantly, the reception team is always welcoming and helpful. Jamyang in particular always takes the time to explain things whenever I see her which makes me feel comfortable and welcome. Please know these things don’t go unnoticed. I would definitely recommend this clinic and will be returning for future treatments.

For me, Simply Teeth sets the standard for what a dental clinic’s atmosphere should be. The modern space exudes warmth, further elevated by the welcoming reception crew and the gentle dentists, mainly Dr Jeniifer Chan.

Speaking of Dr Chan, she’s a certified Invisalign provider who consistently receives praise for two major things: carrying out thorough assessments and achieving quality results.

The clinic’s state-of-the-art kit helps with that. There’s no shortage of 3D scanners here, so analysis is precise, and patients get a clear preview of outcomes before committing.

As with most good things in life, however, Simply Teeth doesn’t come cheap. A prescription alone can set you back $150.

Slots also get snapped up quickly. Heaps go here for general, cosmetic, sleep, and emergency dentistry (availability-dependent).

It’s all cruisy once you’re in. I mean, even their treatment rooms feature memory foam cushioning, ergonomic chairs, ambient lighting, and laid-back jazz music.

West Australian Orthodontics is specialist-led. Better still, the specialist in question is Dr Sanjivan Kandasamy, a US-trained orthodontist with 21-plus years of experience and multiple relevant publications to boot.

So don’t be shocked if most of his patients claim their “teeth have never been so perfect.” Even those with tricky conditions, like extreme grinding tendencies, had their issues straightened out.

Dr Kandasamy’s no-nonsense approach to assessments deserves props, too. If he believes Invisalign won’t benefit a patient in the long run, he’ll say it straight.

Having to travel a fair bit is the main concern. From the Perth CBD, reaching West Australian Orthodontics by car takes roughly 30 minutes, which is made worse by the lack of weekend operations.

The upside is that delays don’t happen much. Every patient we hit up raved about treatment and appointment timelines staying on schedule.

Very approachable

Dr Kandasamy is a very approachable and knowledgeable orthodontist. I would recommend him to anyone seeking orthodontic treatment and I already have. Super impressed with the great service I received at this practice – my treatment was worth every cent. My smile has been completely transformed and looks better than I ever could’ve expected. This is a very clean practice with fantastic staff who really do care about all their patients.
