Tidy Up started all the way back in 1975, and the company is still around for good reason!

To start, they rarely lag behind. Clients usually get a two-hour window on the booked day before the skip bins arrive.

The dumpsters are lockable, meaning others can’t drop their waste in the containers, and you don’t have to suffer from overflowing rubbish or extra fees.

Come the collection date, bulky items may even be loaded up to their trucks for an extra cost.

However, only one size is available: 2.5 cubic metres. Some providers offer more flexibility.

Weekend hires also cost more than weekday ones. There’s roughly a $50 gap between them.

You’re not getting fleeced, though, as Tidy Up’s standard pricing is Perth-friendly. 

Besides, you can sleep easily knowing they’re a B Corp-certified firm that favours recycling, donating, and repurposing over landfill disposal.

Having dumpsters for nearly all sorts of rubbish is one of New Era Skip Bins’ strong points. Their selection features 3- to 10-cubic metre containers with door access and are suitable for residential, office, and industrial waste.

In terms of delivery speed, they normally don’t provide a timeline, but most clients we interviewed got their bins the next day.

Pricing is where things get sweet. Many find their rates among (if not) Perth’s cheapest.

Quotes don’t incur extra charges as well, and instructions tend to be clear.

New Era’s adaptability deserves kudos, too; early collection or relocation is fair game with this lot.

The catch is they’re not yet beyond the 10-year mark, unlike most providers in town.

On top of that, you don’t have the option to book them for complete removal services. This one is dedicated to dumpster rentals only.

Quick to Deliver

Northside Skip Bin is an eco-friendly pick. They run a recycling facility where around 80% of waste is turned into useful products, such as a road base.

Booking is also a cinch, as the process, including payment, is safely done online. That means you can secure bins without waiting for a quote, email, or callback.

They’re not a single-size outfit either. Last we checked, 2-, 3-, 4-, 6-, 8-, 9-, and 10-cubic metre bins were up for grabs.

Unfortunately, some of Northside’s drivers and staff, while punctual in picking up, have a bit of a dodgy rep. Clients have moaned about footpath damage, bins placed incorrectly in planted areas, and reps being dismissive.

If that’s not a deal killer, you’re looking at pretty low prices. Renting a 2-metre cubic bin for 7 days only costs $320 here.

Went the Extra Mile

We hired a 9m bin and right from calling to book, to drop off and letting them know it was ready for collection, the service was 5 star. Especially the delivery driver. It was a 38 degree day but he went the extra mile!

The Bin Guys is for people who reckon size matters. After all, no other entry here offers 15-cubic metre bins.

That’s not their full package either. Options include dumpsters from 2–10 cubic metres, each priced competitively and often rentable for 7 days.

Going another week will run you $88 more. We’d say that’s not shabby, considering most providers charge at least $100 for extended hires, and 1–2 extra days normally won’t cost extra if you inform them right away.

Turnaround isn’t perfect, sadly. The bulk of clients had bins delivered on schedule (usually on the same day or the next), though some faced delays.

The support team also has some issues. While most call them helpful, accommodating, and professional, a few reported interacting with less-than-friendly reps.

Otherwise, The Bin Guys is a solid call. They’ve been around since 2000 for a reason.

Time is gold, and Mobile Skips knows it. That’s why clients pay zip if they’re over three hours late, which translates to $500–$600 worth of savings.

Safe to say, they generally rock up on time for both collection and delivery.

Comms through emails and SMS are pretty much stress-free as well. Word is, the staff responds quickly and politely.

Bin-wise, theirs have some notable features, like having coded padlocks. Sneaky drop-ins from freeloaders won’t be a problem.

And, as the name implies, Mobile Skips’ dumpsters are mobile. You can wheel them around without damaging lawns or driveways.

The problem is, they only come in 4 cubic metres. One client even said they couldn’t dump too much rubbish inside, especially renovation waste like bricks.

What’s more, no other service is available past rentals. We listed entries above that can move furniture (like these movers) or do clear-outs.
