Experience breathtaking and exhilarating journeys with the best bus tours in Perth
As a local, I can promise you that a visit to Perth is always an exciting experience! We may not share the same fame as cities on the East Coast, but we still offer an impressive array of natural and manmade wonders worth seeing.
Experiencing these attractions is best done with the help of a professional bus tour agency. Not only can they plan the whole trip for you, but they can also get you to these places at the fastest time possible.
Here are some amazing ones in Perth!

For the classic bus tour experience, you can never go wrong with Perth Explorer. With their iconic open-top double-decker buses, they offer a fun and flexible way to see the sights.
In my opinion, they’re a good choice for those who are visiting Perth for the first time. That’s because they primarily offer hop-on and hop-off tours that cover the city’s top destinations like Kings Park, Elizabeth Quay, and the Perth Mint.
Furthermore, all their buses come equipped with onboard commentary that’s available in 10 languages. These buses even have a children’s channel to keep the kids entertained throughout the entire ride!
Sadly, it should be mentioned that some people may have a hard time listening to the onboard commentary. That’s because most of Perth Explorer’s buses are old, including their sound systems.
Great time spent

Pink Bus Tours, with its iconic pink buses, has been a hit in Perth ever since its inception in 2012. They offer a variety of fun tours, like the Swan Valley Wine Tours and the Pink Gin Distillery Tour, which are perfect for wine and gin lovers.
Personally, I love the additional features that come with these tour packages. Not only will you have a grand time exploring Perth’s famous vineyards, but you’ll also have the opportunity to taste the fantastic wines made here!
Plus to help set the rustic mood, Pink Bus Tours has also begun to provide luxury picnic services. This is especially awesome for people who are looking to enjoy a relaxing lunch in between their vineyard visits.
Sadly, all this stuff comes with a premium price tag. It’s also a bit of a bummer that they don’t offer tours beyond the Swan Valley.
We had such a great time on our tour

Are you tired of seeing the same places over and over again whenever you visit Perth? Then come check out Hidden deTours, a bus and walking tour agency that specialises in uncovering Perth’s hidden gems.
For their bus tours, they tend to feature lesser-known breweries and distilleries located in nearby towns like Rockingham and Peel. If you prefer visiting places that are closer, they also offer hidden bar bus tours in Fremantle and Perth.
Another thing I’m excited about with them is their three-day getaway tours that’ll take you across the beautiful scenery and attractions along the Margaret River. While it’s only available for private group bookings, it’s still a worthwhile experience to try out.
Overall, they’re one of the best picks to experience Perth at its finest. Just be sure to book weeks in advance since they tend to get fully booked quickly!
Made the experience fun and comfortable for everyone

Why Not Bus, started by two adventurous backpackers, is your go-to for fun and unique tours in Western Australia. Quite different from the others I’ve mentioned earlier, their priority is to provide tours that’ll take you across the most exotic regions in the state.
That’s why, aside from covering the natural wonders of Perth, they’ll also take you to other equally impressive places like Broome and Exmouth. These adrenaline-pumping tours include almost everything, from snorkelling with whale sharks to hiking in national parks.
And if that’s not enough for you, they also offer exclusive activities like sea lion tours and stand-up paddleboarding!
Of course, a downside that comes with them is that all of their exotic tour packages will take you several days to finish. Not only will you be away for some time, but access to amenities, like hot showers and proper beds, is quite limited.
The best way to see the west coast of Aus
“Unreal tour and definitely the best way to see the west coast of Aus – packed so much in the twelve days starting from perth all the way up to broome. Great tour and had so much fun with the group – kit was a brilliant tour guide!”
-Emily Shiel, Google Reviews
One of the best trips I’ve been on
“One of the best trips I’ve been on. The two tour guides, one of which was one of the owners, were absolute legends. The trip is a great mix of trail walking, water activities, having a laugh going out or chilling with beers. Karijini National Park and swimming with whale sharks in Exmouth are once in a lifetime experiences.”

Another fantastic choice for your adventure is Share Bus, based in Welshpool. This time, however, there’s a twist.
Under their “choose-your-own-adventure” model, you, along with up to 11 other participants, will share a minibus and trailer, complete with all the camping gear you’ll need. You’ll get to explore at your own pace, with flexible itineraries that you can tweak as you go.
If that sounds exciting, you’ll definitely appreciate the number of locations they cover. Aside from Perth, they can also set up your tour to travel to other notable places like Broome and Karijini.
Sadly, due to the nature of their itineraries, you’ll also have to spend a significant amount of time without easy access to modern amenities, like heating and the Internet. It also sucks to hear that some clients encountered rude behaviour from their staff.
One of the best experiences I have ever had!
“I travelled the west coast using Sharebus 30th April ‘24 for 3 weeks. One of the best experiences I have ever had! Everything is included in the trip for the full camping experience. An itinerary also helps guide you where to be and go. Everyday was different! From Whale sharks in Exmouth, to the Karijini national park. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves adventure. Just don’t forget a fly net!”
