They offer a complete removal and replacement service, easily vacuuming out old, degraded batts before laying fresh materials. You can even choose spray foam options or add roof ventilation if needed.

Their (Energy Efficiency Council) EEC-accredited installers (who are employed in-house) also focus on using Knauf Earthwool, which offers a softer, lower-carbon alternative to traditional glasswool.

Coverage-wise, they’re absolutely solid. They accommodate residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Perth and the surrounding areas.

However, you should closely inspect their final handiwork. Some clients noticed minor installation gaps around tight spaces that required a follow-up visit to properly seal.

Northern Suburbs Insulation is a reliable local family-owned business focusing on residential ceilings across all areas of Perth.

Their services conveniently include full insulation installation and removal. They use high-powered filtered vacuums to safely extract messy loose-fill or old fibreglass batts. 

They even provide thorough cavity cleaning to suck out decades of roof dust, which is fantastic for keeping your indoor air quality healthier. And if you want higher thermal performance, they carry excellent Ecowool R4.1, R5, and R6 batts.

But because they focus entirely on standard residential ceilings, their service menu is fairly narrow. You won’t find wall or spray foam options here, making them less suitable if you need diverse application methods.

Jon and the team did a fantastic job of our insulation removal and install (plus removed our old A/C ducting for a really small fee). From the old blow in to 4.1 Batts in our 1970’s home. They moved our booking forward and the job was completed in under half a day. Couldn’t be happier! 🙏

When we visited their showroom, we were pleased with the high-quality options. They even act as a CSR (Colonial Sugar Refining) Bradford-approved distributor, so you get premium glasswool or polyester batts backed by solid lifetime product warranties.

The team provides an exclusive five-year installation warranty, promising prompt service across the entire metro area.

However, their initial quoting process sometimes misses hidden structural issues. Unfortunately, a couple of clients we spoke with faced work interruption when installers found unexpected ceiling damage.

The job was completed properly 

We had our old blow in insulation removed & replaced with bats. The job was completed properly & the tradesman cleaned up after each day.

If you want serious high-tech sealing, Spray Foam Australia leads the pack as certified polyurethane specialists. They have EEC accreditation for home upgrades, ensuring a very high standard of chemical application.

Their team also holds crucial approvals from Huntsman Solutions. They follow strict international safety and environmental standards.

We like their use of a project-specific approach, which allows them to apply foam or traditional batts depending on your roof layout.

And by having a local Wangara head office, they can provide great peace of mind for ongoing project support. They’re even available seven days a week.

However, they strictly use spray foam insulation. Because of this, they aren’t the best option for other materials.

The communication was excellent

Highly Recommend Spray Foam Australia. From my first enquiry to the completion of applying spray on foam insulation to a 9x6m workshop, the communication was excellent. The application team led by Roman was efficient and thorough. They were very pleasant and worked very hard. The finished job was neat and they left the worksite very clean and tidy afterwards.

Their team handles both thermal and acoustic needs, and they can even install roof ventilation to perfectly balance airflow. 

We also like that they give you a fantastic choice of major brands, including Pink Batts, EarthWool, and Kingspan Air-Cell. This ensures you’re only using quality and Perth-tested materials.

Their free, no-obligation quotes even make it easy to explore different materials without feeling pressured.

The thing is, their product catalogue caters almost exclusively to traditional batt and reflective foil insulation. If you want a seamless spray foam application, you’ll need to book a different local provider.

Courteous and efficient, and on time

Eco Insulation recently removed old blown in insulation at our house and replaced it with pink batts.  It was not a particularly easy job due to the low roof pitch, with A/C ducting and solar panels also restricting access into the roof cavity.  However, they managed it well and did a very neat job for us.  They were courteous and efficient, and on time.  Thanks you Eco Insulation!
