Starting with the fine people who made my nephew’s 8th birthday magical, we have Perth Party Time. We chose them because of their fantastic achievement of winning the What’s On 4 Kids WA’s Best Entertainer Award in 2023.

One thing that truly impressed us was the incredible variety of entertainment options they offer for kids. They have magical plays, glitter parties, magic shows, and clown performances.

Plus, they have their own events venue, Jellybean Manor, which is perfect for hosting parties and events.

We ultimately went with their Jelly Kelly & The Muffins Show package. Kellyjoy, the founder, delivered an amazing performance with her comedy act and made sure every child at the party was engaged in the various activities and games.

My only major issue about them is that they tend to get fully booked quickly. So, make sure to book them for your party well in advance!

Pop Magic is an excellent choice if you love magic shows. It was started by Vince Haines in 2001, a skilled magician who’s been performing magic tricks since the mid-1970s.

What stands out about Vince is his versatility. He’s not just about mesmerising magic shows; he also excels in balloon twisting and delightful character appearances as Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and more.

Furthermore, he can also make your events more engaging by hosting magic workshops. Designed for ages five and up, these workshops will teach simple yet engaging tricks that almost anyone can pull off.

It’s also worth mentioning that he offers spruiking services to businesses across Perth. If you think magic tricks will draw crowds to your shop, give him a call.

However, keep in mind that Vince’s solo performances mean his availability can be limited, so booking in advance is highly recommended.

Everyone had a great time

“Vince entertained our Seniors Club this week and everyone had a great time. He’s very good at encouraging an interaction between himself and his audience and making it a fun experience for all. The children from the creche next door joined in for the balloon animal section of his act and they and their mums also had a great time. The audience was aged from about 2 to 98 years old so his appeal across all groups was well demonstrated.”

With over 25 years of experience, Rosie O Entertainment is another highly experienced entertainer worth checking. They’re pretty flexible in what they can offer, as they provide services like face painting, balloon twisting, and bubble entertainers.

However, what truly caught my attention were their foam party packages. Using the latest foam machines, they can transform any space into a foam-filled wonderland.

The foam is safe for all skin types, ensuring everyone can join in the fun without any worries.

Another unique offering is their Finders Keepers Gem Mining activity. This engaging and educational experience encourages participants to search for unique gems throughout the venue, with cool prizes up for grabs.

The only downside is that they require a 50% upfront payment, which can be a major turn-off for many people. 

Rosie did a fantastic job at my daughters 5th birthday

“Rosie did a fantastic job at my daughter’s 5th birthday. We had over 20 children there, she managed her time perfectly and all the kids felt included. We got the 2 hour party package which included face painting, balloons and games. All the parents commented on how great she was, especially the face painting which the kids were also stoked with. Parties Kids Remember is an entertainment company that was established in 2001. They specialise in creating magical experiences for younger audiences with their delightful thematic parties featuring a diverse array of action and fantasy characters.

For older kids, their specialty themes are a big hit, especially the Pinkilicious Tea Party. Hosted at the charming Secret Garden Café, this party makes the celebrant and her guests feel like royalty, complete with three courses of delicious teas and pastries.

Another thing that caught my attention is their online character experiences. These are a fantastic option for kids who can’t have an in-person party but still want to interact with their favourite superheroes or cartoon characters.

On the downside, their services can be a bit pricier than average, and there have been a few instances where the final cost differed from the initial quote.

They had the kids entertained the whole time

“We just had my Son’s 4th Birthday Party on the weekend and boy did his eyes light up when Spiderman arrived with Black Widow. He had the biggest smile. Spiderman bent down to greet him and he ran up to him and wrapped his arms around his neck and cuddled him for ages. It was the sweetest thing. For those looking to elevate their events to the next level, WA Mermaids is an excellent choice. Their name says it all: they specialise in providing enchanting mermaid-themed entertainment.

What’s truly impressive is their ability to handle all the logistical challenges that come with aquatic parties. They take care of everything, from finding a venue with a large swimming pool to creating aquatic props and planning engaging water-based activities.

Beyond water-based fun, they also offer a variety of non-water-based services like face painting, storybook readings, stage shows, and singing performances. Their flexibility makes them a good fit for almost any event, whether it’s a birthday party or a corporate gathering.

However, it’s important to note that their water-based parties are only available between November and April. This is to ensure the safety of both their performers and guests, as weather conditions outside of these months can be less predictable.
